Those planes are absolutely armed to the teeth. It's insane how much weight in ordinance such small planes can take up with them, and still be so agile

They didnt. I believe they're taken off at the piano keys or just before they enter the runway.

The F-16 in front also has one so I'm guessing it's not?
Pylon and weapon safety pins are removed immediately before takeoff during the end of runway checks.
