I love these guys, they are so natural and down to earth. Had the pleasure of seeing them 4 times, once in Kingston, Ontario where. I live and the other times in Toronto. I have Phil's autograph, he was my idol since Bye Bye Love, almost broke my heart when they cut Cathy's Clown lol . Their music is timeless, beautiful and full of meaning. God bless them both.
I purchased the album in 1988 as soon as it was released. My family and I especially loved the title song. It was a very progressive sound for them. I consider it among their best.
Their 80´s stuff is just so great! EB 84, Born Yesterday, Some Hearts. It´s really interesting that quite a fiew big stars from the 60´s who disappered around 1970 all of a sudden were really popular agin in the 80´s. It happened to The Everly Brothers, to Simon & Garfunkel, to Roy Orbison and many more.
Good to hear them so comfortable with each other in this relaxed scene. Jason said they had the same sense of humour - very evident here. So much good music I still need to acquire.
Das Album kenne ich noch nicht. Ich hoffexes kaufen zu können. So guuut. Danke für das Teilen mit allem drum herum. Es ist schön sie zu hören und zu sehen. Entspannt. ❤
Never knew of this album. Sounds fantastic. That they still sang so well in 1988 really makes one wonder what the Everly Brothers and their fans missed out on by them not performing or recording together when they were still in their prime during their decade-long breakup from 1973-1983.
I adore the song “Some Hearts”. I personally think it’s one of the best songs that Don ever wrote. Just the line “some hearts are worth waiting for” is a gem. I like the whole album. It has some really great songs on it.

Gibts leider nur gebraucht, aber als Kassette oder Schallplatte ist es eh viel besser. Ich hab mir 2020 die Kassette zugelegt.
This video was blocked on UA-cam due to copyright on Don´t Worry Baby. I´m glad it´s back!
