RIP Don Everly. When they did that first reunion concert in Albert Hall, they...blew...the...roof ..off ..of...the ...sucker. They were brilliant. Greatest Duo of all time, greatest Harmonies of all time.
Same for me, Judy. Don looked particularly gorgeous in this interview. I loved how he looked in his 40s and 50s. His curly hair was so flattering to him.
There is no doubt that Don could have been a successful soloist but it would have been a shame to rob the public of the magic of the wonderful Everly brothers harmony. Two wonderful voices making unforgetable music
I never saw the two brothers get along so peacefully as this video shows. At least they could now at least SIT together on a couch. That's progress! Phil comes across as the easy-going of the two, Don more cerebral and reserved. RIP, Phil.
OMG… this interview was great. The last 5 minutes or so had me laughing out loud. You gotta love the Brits. Don and Phil were so gracious throughout. Lovely guys and true professionals.
Sie sind grossartig😊 Hier wurde einmal eine Austellung von ihnen gezeigt, bin sehr dankbar, hier etwas sehen zu können, was mir sonst nie möglich gewesen wäre.👍👍👍👍👍
Enjoyed this interview so very much. Thank you for sharing it. Don and Phil Everly were in good hands here - professionals know how to do it - a good time had by all. A sharp contrast in my view from Nationwide's (1983) interview with Phil filmed months prior to their Royal Albert Hall reunion concert.
So down to earth, they come across as decent people, perhaps the singing stars of today, who don't mostly sing Live, show off their wealth and have no talent or taste!!!!!! 🇬🇧🤗🤗🤗🤗
I saw The Everly Brothers in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands, in 1988. It was a great evening, although I would have liked their show to be a bit longer and leaning heavily on their early hits. I'm a fan of their country rock material from the late sixties/early seventies and that era was ignored. A few years later they did a gig in Groningen, The Netherlands, and I bought two tickets and got my father and mother to see them. They loved it.

RIP Don Everly. When they did that first reunion concert in Albert Hall, they...blew...the...roof ..off ..of...the ...sucker. They were brilliant. Greatest Duo of all time, greatest Harmonies of all time.
Both so handsome, but for me, Don was heart-stoppingly gorgeous, right through his 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond…

The Everly Brothers Meet Alan Partridge!
I'm Alan Partridge...indeed. haha
One of the best things that ever happened to the pop music industry was The Everly Brothers reunion.

If you look up the word "Talented" in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of the Everly Brothers.
