Wow, I was at this gig. I remember Stereolab arriving incredibly late and whilst people were waiting, PJ Harvey was walking around the shop inviting people to her gig that night at the Bull & Gate.
This must be one the earliest footage of Stereolab, They were formed barely a year ago at that time. I think they just released their first single and EP. Great performance despite shooting angle and low volume on vocals.
