Dagur *DID NOT* overthrow Oswald.. he assumed the role of Chieftain after Oswald disappeared to do his assumed research o on everything about Dragons... leading him to acquire or possibly create the Dragon Lens on Heather's belt or even had created the Dragon Eye himself!!.... then got shipwrecked on Vanaheim island and died there of old age or something

TheDrawing GamingSavage Dagur still has shatter master it's just that he has two dragons and sleuther well fits his character a bit better and is more of a well power full dragon so Dagur simply keeps shatter master kind of as a back up though his bond with him is still very strong
Probably keeps shattermaster back at home as a friend instead of flying with him, probably because he doesn't want his friend in the line of fire, or because his wing is crucially damaged, either way.
Even after 5 years, I still find Johann’s twist to be so well crafted. There’s technically some noticeable set up for the twist since the season 2 finale too, so the twist was probably being considered way back during the start of the series!
As soon as the dragon hunters were introduced, I kept a close eye on Johann. Just think about it, every time Johann sends for help to the riders, the hunters attack the edge. Johann went to the edge and told hiccup that the oil he needs is on a not too far away island. As soon as astrid and hiccup leave, the flyers, viggo and Krogan attack. AND WE CANT LOSE HOPE ON THE SAND WRAITH, IT MIGHT APPEAR NEXT SEASON
Death Song I don’t think so. ‘The king of Dragons’ was referenced several times through the last season. I believe that the lense is of a Bewilderbeast, and will lead them to getting the egg for Drago.
So I don't know if it's just me and my husband but we felt quite underwhelmed with Krogan's character this season. After seeing him as the silent, mysterious figure in season 3, we thought his ruthlessness was anticlimactic. Viggo is by far the better villain. I totally see Viggo besting Krogan, although I don't necessarily see him turning good. Also, the first half of the season didn't feel like it had much plot to it, but it seemed to pick up in the later half of the season.

Y'know, I never thought Johann was evil. He always made me laugh, and he was one of my favorite characters. But since he's now evil, he is one of my least liked characters

Hiccup actually noted SEVERAL hints (some of which that I picked up, mainly Johann at Dagur's prison and his distress call when the Hunters invaded) so...THERE WERE HINTS PEOPLE.
When Trader Yojan was originally introduced in the tv series I never knew the difference between Trader and Traitor. So seeing this reveal after so long I couldn't help but think back to then and feel as though i had accidentally confused myself into a spoiler
If you go back and watch the first episode in the Race to the Edge. It was Johann that sent the riders to get the Dragon Eye. After going back and watching from the beginning knowing about Johann. I think the writers had Johann as the big villain from the beginning.

I thought that I was the only one that love HTTYD but when I saw this I was kind of crying with joy I felt alone when I talked about it at school no one knew what I was talking about.
I cannot wait for Season 6! Trader(Traitor)Johann becoming evil sounds so awesome, but I think that if Krogan works for Dragobloodvist, he will take the Bewilderbeast egg after Johann successfully retrieves it, and gives it to Drago.
I was sure Viggo would return. He couldn't go down just like that; poof he fell into the lava and died. Viggo spiced things up like no other villan could - he won his battles by outthinking his enemy rather than killing everything in sight like Krogan does, and this is what makes him my favourite character too - he wowed us all with his strategies and intelligence and made the watchers think. It didn't seem right for a great villan like him to die by slipping in a lava pit. He earned my respect throughout the series and I'm glad to have him back in season 5. It was really nice to see Hiccup's evolution when talking about inventions -Inferno and the new dragon eye- and his fighting schemes. Vanaheim is just AMAZING -there is so much knowledge stocked in there ! The Bewilderbeast, Dragon origins and so on. I'm glad we got to learn more about Oswald - and also about Dagur and Heather - which leads me to this question: Dagur was guided to Vanaheim by some indications in Oswald's journal - there were some Sentinel drawings there and also the Bewilderbeast skeleton - but how did Dagur get Oswald's joirnal if Oswald wasn't able to leave Vanaheim after his shipwreck? Maybe I missed something - I will watch the season again =))) And with so many characters introduced - Traitor Johann, Viggo, Oswald, Krogan - I can hardly wait to see how will the links with the second be made. There are only few missing puzzle pieces left ^ ^ ALL HAIL MISHKA *flies away*
Wouldnt it be cool if every time an alpha dies it creates a nev vannaheim and if for the third movie they do the same thing they did for the second movie to make dragons but with more body shapes and sizes og they made an algorythem that real life animals into dragons based on that animal
female Nadders are very motherly and Garff is very young so Stormfly was mothering him she had adopted him as her son. Dagur had nothing to do with what happened to Oswald he left of his own free will
Okay, I'm curious to see what you have to say. Just finished it 5 minutes ago and immediately came back to this channel. EDIT: This was a great response video. I did NOT see the plot twist with traitor Johan coming at the end. And how did nobody see Heather's lens? I can't wait for next season. O and if I can recommend somebody something. This summer Made in Abyss came out and it was amazing and nobody is talking about it and I think subfuries would like it. :) O and ps. If I had to make one complaint about this series, it would be the moment Hiccup succeeded in flying with his self-made suit. Until that point (season 3/4?) I thought the suit worked for the first time in the movie. Ah. I miss them already.
I never saw Johann's reveal to be a villain coming. He was always so jovial and friendly, so seeing that was all a ruse really surprised me. I always had an odd feeling with him, but I thought that was simply because he was a side character that didn't really do much in his appearance, apart from giving valuable information to the riders.
I think Traitor Johann gets killed, because there is absolutely no metion of him in the 2nd movie. Also I think that the guys at Httyd did mean for him to be evil the whole time, as he's always been a bit sneaky and given false information. Remember that time when he brought that smothering smokebreath nest to berk? Or when he gave them false information about Alvin the Treacherous's plans? (In Riders of Berk and Defenders of berk). Yep he's pure evil mate. Make sure Tim sees this comment!!!
1. When you were talking about the wingmaidens, how do you know their island is around the same place as Valka's mountain? 2. They should use more dragons from School of Dragons. I was also disappointed that they didn't use the sand wraith. 3. In the episode no dragon left behind I had a question since I finished watching it so we see Stormfly do what Astrid calls " her new thing" we know every time Stormfly normally when she shoots fire it's a yellow color or something close to that color but in that episode her fire is a blue color but they never explain how she does that but we do see that she holds her fire in longer and blue fire we know is hotter but we have heard many times that a nadder's fire is the hottest in the dragon world so is her fire hotter and is it possible I really don't know what goes on there I really do want to know how Stormfly does that. ( also for my school homecoming one of the dress up days is cartoon or movie character and I chose Astrid)

For the part with the flying woman and the volcano, I think You're asking a little bit too much to be Honest. 1- For the volcano part, it's true that I wanted more too but don't forget that in beginning of the epidode, they said that month has pass. So you can always imagine what happen the first time... 2- As for the flying woman, let just say it's true, they never told in the second movie that there is other dragon Riders, BUT they never deny it... Even when Hiccup ask "There's other dragon Riders?", that doesn't mean "OMG, BERK ISN'T THE ONLY ONE WHO TRAIN DRAGONS". He's just asking himself who could it be...
I have a theory how Viggo, Krogan and Johan are gonna die, hear me out! So, remember how Drago suddenly knew the location of valka's mountain and they never told us how he knew that location? I think Viggo, Krogan and Johan found valka's mountain and from this moment i have 2 storylines (storyline 1 is for Krogan and 2 is for Viggo and Johan) Storyline 1: after reaching the island Krogan turns on Viggo and Johan. after a fight (wich he loses), he retreats to Drago's base. Krogan gives Drago the location of the mountain and later realises he wants the Bewilderbeast for himself. Krogan tries to kill Drago but Drago grabs him and throws him overboard. We see Krogan swim upwards and then he suddenly gets grabbed and gets taken into the darkness by the evil bewilderbeast resulting in his death (Krogan doesn't know Drago had a bewilderbeast). Storyline 2: after the retreat of Krogan, Viggo and Johan go inside the mountain with a small group of warriors. as they go through the cave system they can only hear their own footsteps and see some fire. then suddenly the fire goes out and we hear dragons. the fire goes on again and all of the warriors are gone and only Viggo and Johan remain in the cave. they run forward and see some light coming from inside the mountain (were the dragons live), but when they reach the exit a person jumps in front of them coming from above the exit. This person is Valka wearing her mask. they turn around and see Cloudjumper coming to them from behind. the camera goes outside the cave and reveals the dragon nest as we hear Viggo and Johan screaming. What did you think of my theory? Do you think it is HTTYD worthy? And if you could change things what would you change?
If the sand busters breath attack was glass then how would it use it to stop the sunlight getting in its cave when the glass would've actually magnified the light making the sunlight worse for the sand buster but we see that when the breath attack is in the ceiling the sand buster is fine.
Only highly refined glass is clear. if it is not heated very hot and the sand has the wrong composition the glass can be opaque or translucent. Thick enough glass would be able to block light quite nicely.
I think that the reason that the dragons went berserk on Berserker island is because there actually is a dragon living underneath the island like Snotlout said that will probably be called the Berserkerwing. Or it could be a juvenile Red Death.
I thought the same thing, not that there is a red death or anything but the way it looked in the tunnels i just had a feeling something wasn't right with that. I hope that may be explored in the next season just because of how they are unable to take the dragons around berserker island.
Hey can you please talk about the bewilderbeast like ice that they found under berserker island and why the dragons act weird when their near the center of the island?
Snotlout helps Astrid by using the screaming death’s scales with cross stitch to get back Stormfly. Ruffnut helps Astrid by pickpocketing a dragon hunter to get the key to help break out Stormfly. Tuffnut helps Astrid by identifying the Changewing in a cage and also captures he Changewing for its acid to get back Stormfly. And Tuffnut also helps Astrid by fighting off a little of the dragon hunters. And what does Astrid do? Astrid: “Because the two of you don’t think.” Gives no respect to the twins and Snotlout when if they weren’t here you wouldn’t have Stormfly probably! Astrid is really really rude.
Also Tim there is one thing I have to question, if Oswald's journal has sentinels written in his journal, how did it get there, considering if he was shipwrecked how did his journal get back to berserker island.
Could you talk about a very small moment in the episode where dagur got captured? In the caves gustav and snotlout find a peculiar crystal like stalactite. Could this be where the bewilderbeast hatchling/egg is right now? On beserker island. It could make sense considering heather and dagur would be cleaning up after a siege from the dragonflyers like they did with the dragoneye and it explains why the dragons didn't feel okay on beserker island.

When snotlout and goostof have to go down into the underground tunnel they get down there and see something big and green spiky looking and that's when snotlout says hm I wonder what type of big venomous dragon made this and then snotlout scares goostof the giant green and spiky stuff looked like to me it was bewilder beast ice and does this mean it was once a bewilder beasts home or that Oswald the agreeable found it and made it the home for berserkers .Could it also mean it was once Valkas bewilder beasts home and she lived there once. What I'm getting at is that the ice stuff inside the cave looked like bewilder beast ice. Thanks subfury~paddy
I wasn't expecting Johann to be evil, but for a past few seasons I did get creepster vibes from him and I just had a general feeling of he shouldn't be trusted. (Mostly because I figured the bad guys would be able to crack him really easily, but turns out he was the bad guy. And all of a sudden, after the reveal, he seemed less... _fake_ )
Hello Future Me How do you think Viggo will deal with Krogan, as he knows that he is trying to get rid of him? I definitely think that this was the best season yet, and I am already excited for season 6. I especially liked ow it showed that Viggo is on a different level of evil than Krogan (like you said in this video,) and I think that Hiccup and the riders might realize that later. I think that Viggo will eventually resort to asking for Hiccups help, like at the end of season 4, and this could be the end of Krogan, and possibly Johann. However, this will only happen after they find the Bewilderbeast, which I think Drago will get, and Johann sort of loses in this situation. Since none of these three villains are mentioned in the second movie, season 6 will probably bring an unfortunate end to all of them.
In Vanahim there is a very big skull of a dragon and if you look at it closely it is a bewildered beast and it is also bigger than the one that toothless and hiccup fort in httyd 2

I cannot wait for Season 6! Trader(Traitor)Johann becoming evil sounds so awesome, but I think that if Krogan works for Dragobloodvist, he will take the Bewilderbeast egg after Johann successfully retrieves it, and gives it to Drago.

I was sure Viggo would return. He couldn't go down just like that; poof he fell into the lava and died. Viggo spiced things up like no other villan could - he won his battles by outthinking his enemy rather than killing everything in sight like Krogan does, and this is what makes him my favourite character too - he wowed us all with his strategies and intelligence and made the watchers think. It didn't seem right for a great villan like him to die by slipping in a lava pit. He earned my respect throughout the series and I'm glad to have him back in season 5.
It was really nice to see Hiccup's evolution when talking about inventions -Inferno and the new dragon eye- and his fighting schemes. Vanaheim is just AMAZING -there is so much knowledge stocked in there ! The Bewilderbeast, Dragon origins and so on.
I'm glad we got to learn more about Oswald - and also about Dagur and Heather - which leads me to this question: Dagur was guided to Vanaheim by some indications in Oswald's journal - there were some Sentinel drawings there and also the Bewilderbeast skeleton - but how did Dagur get Oswald's joirnal if Oswald wasn't able to leave Vanaheim after his shipwreck? Maybe I missed something - I will watch the season again =)))
And with so many characters introduced - Traitor Johann, Viggo, Oswald, Krogan - I can hardly wait to see how will the links with the second be made. There are only few missing puzzle pieces left ^ ^

Wouldnt it be cool if every time an alpha dies it creates a nev vannaheim and if for the third movie they do the same thing they did for the second movie to make dragons but with more body shapes and sizes og they made an algorythem that real life animals into dragons based on that animal
female Nadders are very motherly and Garff is very young so Stormfly was mothering him she had adopted him as her son. Dagur had nothing to do with what happened to Oswald he left of his own free will

O and if I can recommend somebody something. This summer Made in Abyss came out and it was amazing and nobody is talking about it and I think subfuries would like it. :)
O and ps. If I had to make one complaint about this series, it would be the moment Hiccup succeeded in flying with his self-made suit. Until that point (season 3/4?) I thought the suit worked for the first time in the movie.

I never saw Johann's reveal to be a villain coming. He was always so jovial and friendly, so seeing that was all a ruse really surprised me. I always had an odd feeling with him, but I thought that was simply because he was a side character that didn't really do much in his appearance, apart from giving valuable information to the riders.

I think Traitor Johann gets killed, because there is absolutely no metion of him in the 2nd movie. Also I think that the guys at Httyd did mean for him to be evil the whole time, as he's always been a bit sneaky and given false information. Remember that time when he brought that smothering smokebreath nest to berk? Or when he gave them false information about Alvin the Treacherous's plans? (In Riders of Berk and Defenders of berk). Yep he's pure evil mate.

1. When you were talking about the wingmaidens, how do you know their island is around the same place as Valka's mountain?
2. They should use more dragons from School of Dragons. I was also disappointed that they didn't use the sand wraith.
3. It wouldn't make sense to end the series with a wedding because one of the first thing Stoic says at the beginning of HTTYD 2 is "That's my future daughter in law!"
4. What happened to Shattermaster? I noticed that Dagur has been riding the triple stryke in that season...
He's probably riding sleuther because he doesn't want shattermaster in the line of fire, or because he suffered a major wing injury, either one.

In the episode no dragon left behind I had a question since I finished watching it so we see Stormfly do what Astrid calls " her new thing" we know every time Stormfly normally when she shoots fire it's a yellow color or something close to that color but in that episode her fire is a blue color but they never explain how she does that but we do see that she holds her fire in longer and blue fire we know is hotter but we have heard many times that a nadder's fire is the hottest in the dragon world so is her fire hotter and is it possible I really don't know what goes on there I really do want to know how Stormfly does that.
( also for my school homecoming one of the dress up days is cartoon or movie character and I chose Astrid)

Hey Tim love your vids I have 4 httyd topics I want you to talk about 1- why are toothless' tail fins so vital to his flight if cloudjumpers tail fins got frozen and he was still able to fly fine 2-how could a wild night fury activate its turning back fins that vodka activates on toothless in httyd 2 without a person to press the pressure point 3- how does having 4 wings effect a stormcutters flight 4- could have cloud jumper remembered hiccup in httyd 2 from when he played with hiccup as a baby I love your vids keep up the good work

For the part with the flying woman and the volcano, I think You're asking a little bit too much to be Honest.
1- For the volcano part, it's true that I wanted more too but don't forget that in beginning of the epidode, they said that month has pass. So you can always imagine what happen the first time...
2- As for the flying woman, let just say it's true, they never told in the second movie that there is other dragon Riders, BUT they never deny it... Even when Hiccup ask "There's other dragon Riders?", that doesn't mean "OMG, BERK ISN'T THE ONLY ONE WHO TRAIN DRAGONS". He's just asking himself who could it be...
I have a theory how Viggo, Krogan and Johan are gonna die, hear me out!
So, remember how Drago suddenly knew the location of valka's mountain and they never told us how he knew that location?
I think Viggo, Krogan and Johan found valka's mountain and from this moment i have 2 storylines (storyline 1 is for Krogan and 2 is for Viggo and Johan)
Storyline 1:
after reaching the island Krogan turns on Viggo and Johan. after a fight (wich he loses), he retreats to Drago's base. Krogan gives Drago the location of the mountain and later realises he wants the Bewilderbeast for himself. Krogan tries to kill Drago but Drago grabs him and throws him overboard. We see Krogan swim upwards and then he suddenly gets grabbed and gets taken into the darkness by the evil bewilderbeast resulting in his death (Krogan doesn't know Drago had a bewilderbeast).
Storyline 2:
after the retreat of Krogan, Viggo and Johan go inside the mountain with a small group of warriors. as they go through the cave system they can only hear their own footsteps and see some fire. then suddenly the fire goes out and we hear dragons. the fire goes on again and all of the warriors are gone and only Viggo and Johan remain in the cave. they run forward and see some light coming from inside the mountain (were the dragons live), but when they reach the exit a person jumps in front of them coming from above the exit. This person is Valka wearing her mask. they turn around and see Cloudjumper coming to them from behind. the camera goes outside the cave and reveals the dragon nest as we hear Viggo and Johan screaming.
What did you think of my theory? Do you think it is HTTYD worthy? And if you could change things what would you change?
If the sand busters breath attack was glass then how would it use it to stop the sunlight getting in its cave when the glass would've actually magnified the light making the sunlight worse for the sand buster but we see that when the breath attack is in the ceiling the sand buster is fine.
Only highly refined glass is clear. if it is not heated very hot and the sand has the wrong composition the glass can be opaque or translucent. Thick enough glass would be able to block light quite nicely.

I think that the reason that the dragons went berserk on Berserker island is because there actually is a dragon living underneath the island like Snotlout said that will probably be called the Berserkerwing. Or it could be a juvenile Red Death.
I thought the same thing, not that there is a red death or anything but the way it looked in the tunnels i just had a feeling something wasn't right with that. I hope that may be explored in the next season just because of how they are unable to take the dragons around berserker island.

Snotlout helps Astrid by using the screaming death’s scales with cross stitch to get back Stormfly. Ruffnut helps Astrid by pickpocketing a dragon hunter to get the key to help break out Stormfly. Tuffnut helps Astrid by identifying the Changewing in a cage and also captures he Changewing for its acid to get back Stormfly. And Tuffnut also helps Astrid by fighting off a little of the dragon hunters. And what does Astrid do? Astrid: “Because the two of you don’t think.” Gives no respect to the twins and Snotlout when if they weren’t here you wouldn’t have Stormfly probably! Astrid is really really rude.

Could you talk about a very small moment in the episode where dagur got captured? In the caves gustav and snotlout find a peculiar crystal like stalactite. Could this be where the bewilderbeast hatchling/egg is right now? On beserker island. It could make sense considering heather and dagur would be cleaning up after a siege from the dragonflyers like they did with the dragoneye and it explains why the dragons didn't feel okay on beserker island.

Hey tim. I was just thinking in the episode something rotten on berserker island. When snotlout and goostof have to go down into the underground tunnel they get down there and see something big and green spiky looking and that's when snotlout says hm I wonder what type of big venomous dragon made this and then snotlout scares goostof the giant green and spiky stuff looked like to me it was bewilder beast ice and does this mean it was once a bewilder beasts home or that Oswald the agreeable found it and made it the home for berserkers .Could it also mean it was once Valkas bewilder beasts home and she lived there once. What I'm getting at is that the ice stuff inside the cave looked like bewilder beast ice. Thanks subfury~paddy

I wasn't expecting Johann to be evil, but for a past few seasons I did get creepster vibes from him and I just had a general feeling of he shouldn't be trusted. (Mostly because I figured the bad guys would be able to crack him really easily, but turns out he was the bad guy. And all of a sudden, after the reveal, he seemed less... _fake_ )
Hello Future Me How do you think Viggo will deal with Krogan, as he knows that he is trying to get rid of him?
I definitely think that this was the best season yet, and I am already excited for season 6. I especially liked ow it showed that Viggo is on a different level of evil than Krogan (like you said in this video,) and I think that Hiccup and the riders might realize that later. I think that Viggo will eventually resort to asking for Hiccups help, like at the end of season 4, and this could be the end of Krogan, and possibly Johann. However, this will only happen after they find the Bewilderbeast, which I think Drago will get, and Johann sort of loses in this situation. Since none of these three villains are mentioned in the second movie, season 6 will probably bring an unfortunate end to all of them.
