PSA includes the correct short screw with the slide.
Its Glock 48 with a 43 length barrel and a ported slide like the Sig Macro carry . Oh and 15 rds , the 48 profile is the same as 19 but its the slim line width . Very good shooting Rodge ❤
I am happy to see Super Vel back in operation. When I was a rookie (76) they provided the best HP ammo, Really hot velocity in 38. At night the flash was about 3' to 4' across, probably visible from space.
PSA included the correct short screw with the one I ordered. I’m wondering if T-Rex didn’t confirm the screw wasn’t binding on the extractor spring.
They’re Glock shooters. I’m sure that was the first thing they looked into before their video.
@@OceansBane Who knows?
Great review and footage. I just bought the C-1 Dagger Micro slide only from PSA and put it on my Glock 43X (no optic cut/no rail) using the factory Glock 43X barrel and recoil guide assembly, since PSA claimed they were compatible, and call me silly but it definitely makes my 43X shoot flatter. YMMV but I thoroughly cleaned and lubed the C-1 slide before the range and No issues with my set up after 300 rounds. Gonna run a couple hundred more rounds through it to test reliability, throw an EPS carry on it, and throw it in the EDC rotation. The C-1 slide I got came with one shortened screw to accommodate the extractor/spring. I also replaced the stock PSA sights with some Ameriglo high viz sights.
Good video thanks! Heyo! The value prop on the micros is nuts especially with the ported/comped slide. I enjoy mine 15 rounds in the 43x/48 footprint is legit.
Thank you!!
Gotta try the Aim Surplus 43x ported barrel and slide combo. Priced very competively and a great performer for me.
Glad to see Super Vel back. Back in the Day, they were the most respected carry ammo out there. It had outstanding performance. i still remember the Owner. Very forward thinking fellow.
Always top content Mr. Roger!!! ;
I've been thinking about making my own knife. I'm a machinist/tool and die apprentice. Would 4140 be a good material for a knife? I also got some D2 saved for a rainy day but D2 seems like an awful material for a knife.
@@armorers_wrench No Sir, 4140 if a great gun barrel steel but not enough carbon for a knife blade. I have no idea why you would consider D-2 a poor choice.
Until recently, D-2 was al the rage as a super steel. Fairly tough, but more importantly, hod an edge well if sharpened with a lower grit not to exceed 600 grit. It gives a very toothy edge and cuts like a laser. It holds an edge only slightly better tat 154-cm which is a fine steel, cost less, and easier to heat treat. Only drawback is that it stains a bit. I was it with a good wax or any good gun oil and no issuers there.

Thanks for another great review! You guys definitely ran this pistol hard and it seems to be up to the task. And a 'hat tip' to Super Vel, too. 200K a day is definitely cranking the rounds out. I can only imagine the caffeine intake to make it all happen & I'm a little jealous of their intake... ☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕
I love his videos I just wish there was more table top time with explaining the pistol with great video everyone wants to see the gun up close
Comp slide are cool. Have u tried the live free armory glock 19 comp slide. Bought one from optic planet for $294 for a complete slide. It's pretty cool
To the man in the video that said he is going to install an Apex : I would love to hear how that works out , as mine will not run with an Apex.
It's a nice shooter and good for EDC
I got the C1 with a tan slide and green frame, but I'll switch out all the internal parts with Taran Tactical, and Johnny Glock parts
Which holster in the website fits this gun? Do you need the light bearing one to make it fit correctly?
My 407k came loose from carrying (not shooting) after a few days but the screws seem tight. Waiting for new screws from psa plus my slide seems really tight to look back.
Did y'all have to take a dremel to the frame to make a tiny indent where the Antimatter wing sat? The hinge seems to rub pretty bad otherwise and doesn't flip open when pulling from holster otherwise.
You can't just add an Apex with the trigger bar. The trigger housing and bar is different from the 43x so you either need all of the trigger components or you will have to just change the trigger shoe only. I went with a complete drop in trigger from Tactical Pontoon for my trigger. It's expensive but a phenomenal trigger.
I would love to get the comped slide, but PSA won't ship it here. I guess I have to find one second hand.
Hella random. But I live in Las Vegas and Ventura is my favorite gun shop. But I was wondering if there’s anywhere to get slide milling done out here. Like optic cuts on CZ slides and possibly porting?
Is there a discount for the Super Val Ammo
These guys from Ventura? Sweet piece.
Did you guys have to modify the wing to fit? Mine rubs against the frame so the wing doesn't deploy, had to dremel down the area to make it work
Supervel is fantastic ammo but the tax and shipping costs are brutal.
I love their 147g competition ammo.
Precision one is just as good and significantly cheaper
HEYYYOOOOOO!!!!
I wanna love PSA so badly but have seen nothing but quality control issues outta them.
I’ve seen some videos on these giving people some trouble.
Wow. Look at that.
What happened to Jade? It was always interesting to get her perspective and her shooting was starting to get really good.
She’s still here, she’s just been working a lot more with her day job so she hasn’t been making it out to the range. I’ll get her back in a couple videos in the future.
It came with a green dot ? If so I need it 😂😂
Micro frame with 43x internals is awesome
I thought 43x frame doesn’t it 1:1 in the micro frame? But it does fit 1:1 in the slide?
@@sidoirm you might be right, worth clarifying my comment. I didn’t go full swap but instead took a complete micro dagger frame and removed the full trigger group, replaced that including the trigger housing!
Dings in Dm7
TRex’s video on the micros was pretty solid. The Dagger Micro performed worst out of all… I have one which I’m still running to see if Im going to keep it in my edc rotation or throw it in the range toy category… Hinged trigger isnt the best and its the one only thing I have replaced.
It had the most stoppages. They ranked it 2nd overall behind the 43x. And the most reliable was the hellcat which they ranked last.
Not arguing with you, just clarifying the video for others who haven’t seen it.
@@JakeCamo I was surprised too with the results on the reliability of the Hellcat…
@@DesertTacticalwhy? It’s been the most reliable since day one. With sig being the worst like always. You can find videos of people putting 10-20k rounds through the hellcat in one day.
@JakeCamo Honestly I stopped putting stock in the reliability portion of that review as soon as they said they were using KNOWN bad ammo that even Winchester confirmed was a bad batch. They shouldn't have graded the reliability for any of the guns, or they should have gotten better ammo.
@@BigfootUnibrowMan or 1000 of that ammo and 1000 of Pmc or something like that.
Roger nice review thank you nice gun at a very nice price. Roger on another note i watched a video you presented months ago on the RSU Odin and i wanted that gun bad. I finally got in touch with Robert and he tried to get me to send him a $2500 deposit cash I didn't go for it I wanted to use a credit card he said he couldn't accept payments with a credit card for reasons that didn't make sense. I also read where some body did send him money and he supposedly disappeared not cool what he's doing id he is doing what i expect beware.
Hmm
Just wondering, what holster are you guys using inside the waistband?
QVO Tactical More Discreet for the G48

Where did you get the holster for this?
They sell holsters. 😂
Do you sale holsters, I only see shirts on the website.
Yep, we have a wide selection of holsters at qvotactical.com
@@RogerBarrera Cz p10 c with inforce wild 1 weapon light, OWB …
You need to swap out the frame with SCT Manufacturing G43x frame. It has a way better grip angle for 1911 lovers. It looks sweet as well…It is exactly what I’m doing. Great stuff 🤙
No, it's has glocks angle.
@@MF-Rell really. I think since it’s missing the hump it looks much nicer regardless.
450 with the dot wth I didn’t know they was selling for that low.
Lost me on the hinge trigger...
You can install an aftermarket trigger shoe or Glock 43x/48 parts.
In a couple months the sabre micro will be out and cr920x and cr920xp. This gun will be obsolete.
Hi Kent. Hey, how do you find out about the new sabre micro? I couldn't find it on their site.
I was just about to buy the micro/dot for $540 but now I wonder if I should wait.
Thx in advance.
Love the channel…. But come on “the gun shoots so flat” take the gas pedal off and show us the results. Also let us know long term. Constructive criticism. Make sure there’s no wobble on your primary optical system before giving us the review.
Thanks for checking it out. I appreciate your feed back as well and I’ll address it. Optic was installed to torque specs with screws supplied by PSA, no wobble existed before going to the range and wobble didn’t occur until we started doing the long range stuff half way thru our review. Driving to the range takes 45 minutes one way so I’m not going to go back and fix it and then head back out to refilm.
I also equip the guns the way I carry them. I shoot every gun on this channel with a light and/or ledge if I can equip it. Since we spend our own time and money to do these videos, we do them the way we enjoy shooting them. I hope that makes sense, thanks again.
I'll stick to a Glock & SIG X Macro. Don't waste your time on this PSA garbage copy.
Just a bastardization of the Glock 43X and the Sig P365 X-Macro. You guys are too objective and kind, when reviewing garbage, lol.
I’m not saying that it’s the greatest gun of all time, but I don’t understand your logic. Because a design takes inspiration from other proven platforms it’s garbage?
@@TAG924 No, it's not just because it's stealing other company's research. Do your homework and get back to me in a couple of weeks. We'll see if you still feel the same way about it.
where did you get that gas peddle for tha micro c-1 @rogerbarrera
