I finally recieved my Dagger Micro a couple of weeks back. I was VERY anxious about it seeing this video and one or two others. I took mine to the range and fired 200 rounds through it using the one magazine it came with plus one more that I ordered. One is slick stainless and the other is matt black. Both magazines loaded to FULL capacity with NO issues. I fired the 200 rounds without one single malfunction of any kind. No issues with either magazine. The gun hit dead center at 20 yards. I took the gun home, cleaned and inspected it. So far, absolutely no issues or worries.
Glad to hear it worked for you. Three months later are u close or at 1000 rounds and if so how many and what type of malfunctions. Asking because i may pick one up.
@@Shawnwicck Sorry, no i havent reached 1,000 yet. I have about 720 rds so far, and no malfunctions yet. I have used PMC FMJ for the range as well as Winchester Defense 147 gn. I can't complain at all. Very happy with this purchase.

I've had malfunctions due to my thumb positioning in the past on a Glock 42. Not saying that this is the case but your thumb looks high on a portion of the video.
It’s the daggers extractors that’s the only fault I would say they have and they’re not terrible but some times they stove pipe it was neither of the mags I feel like lol

@Jamison_Vogt right on! If being well rounded was a 2 sided coin, then one has to take competition seriously. The tactics and rules may not apply, but the manipulation of the tool and the understanding of the efficiency required is a must. What area of the country are you guys out of? I spend a lot of time in small town PA, and it looks familiar, but it's hard to know for sure. Personally I found IDPA to be easier to understand and easier to do well at. It is fairly restritive from a rules standpoint though. USPSA generally has more movement and freedom to address the stage. These days I have much more fun playing USPSA. It makes shooting fun once more!

It's most likely your ammo. I've never had a single issue with the micro dagger and I've shot multiples and several thousand rounds through them. I only shoot Speer Lawman ammo.
I have tan taurus G3. Had the G3C.....but in all honesty the G3 is the same just a bit bigger ...a better feel for me. Reliable as hell, of course the first thing indid was go to Lakeline and order the stainless steel recoil rod ....inkept the factory plastic one as backup. And of course put in the stainless firing pin sleeve....of course kept the factory plastic one as backup. These two things will increase reliability ten fold and increase the life of your pistol.
@@cristopperhamilton-gl6jb I got the stainless steel recoil spring and the guide for the firing pin from lakeline also. I am planning on getting a G3 eventually. Been out of work for 3years do to medical reasons and should be getting SSDI by the end of this month.
They state on the site that you should use heavier loads, because of the slide comp. If you're running 115 grain it's going to have problems. Should run 124 or 147 with the Micro.
Looks.like 115 grn blazer rn yeah it's not ideal.but it's also not ideal to break in any gun using 115grn blazer. The being said I. A big fan of the frame.but will.always recommend an oem 48 size slide without the port for more operating pressure so even with 125 there's just enough barrel length to decrease the failure chance by prob 80%... I got rid of my macro too just because the ported slide, its cool to look at mut not really ideal or necessary Happens to the best of us tho lol Were gonna buy it anyways 😆🤷♂️
Stovepipe malfunctions usually caused by overly powerful recoil spring, or underpowered ammo. Try storing with slide locked open between range sessions
You dont have enough info to go off of about this failure to make a decision on the gun. He couldve limp wristed he could have cheap, low power ammo. he could be riding the slide, or the slide stop. He could be pressing the mag release making the mad offset, disrupting proper feeding. Who knows. From what ive heard, the PSA dagger is fine. its cheap, and it works. there are other cheap options if you want something else. and thats fine. but dont let videos like this, without any context or explanation, dissuade you from purchasing what is probably a perfectly serviceable, affordable firearm.
If you are not getting one it's not because of the video it's because you were never going to get one in the first place . Firstly thousands of positive reviews shows that it's decent. Next for all the amazing things psa is doing for us in the 2A community we should support them when they make a decent pew pew that sparks your interest.

We didn't. However if it wouldn't run with a dot that would be a big issue. This slide is cut from the factory for a dot. I'd also be curious if the steel cut from the slide is similar weight to the added red dot!

Did you take the dot off yet and recheck for function? Like someone else mentioned, the optics screw may be a tad too long and interfering with the extractor.
Its either dirty, grip is pushing up the mag and its causing interference, or recoil spring is too strong. Id check in that order. See if intentionally pressing up on the magazine induces the failure
training? if you're good with your gun, it doesn't matter what position you holster it in. only the fact that appendix is the fasted draw time of all concealed positions.
I carry appendix and the barrel runs along side my 🐍 not directly at it. Carrying strong side you could hit your femeral artery which will bleed you out very fast. Plus with a quality holster, a quality pistol, and a little bit of common sense ypu really don't need to worry about NDs. Appendix for me is the most comfortable, and also gives me my fastest draw to first shot times. No reason not to carry this way.
Stovepipes aren’t usually caused by the magazine. It’s more likely one of three things. Underloaded ammo, bad grip, or extractor issues.

Your right screw of your optic is catching on the ejector pin. Its the same problem the 43x has

I've had 4 malfunctions in the tens of thousands of blazer rounds I've shot down range. Either I'm extremely lucky, or you need to check your gear.

It's most likely your ammo. I've never had a single issue with the micro dagger and I've shot multiples and several thousand rounds through them. I only shoot Speer Lawman ammo.

Even when I put the 17 round G3 mag in my G2C I never had a malfunction. Even using ARX 65 grain ammo didn't have a malfunction.

When i first got my dagger compact first few times i shot it i did get some jam ups but eventually got better after cleaning it and running it awhile

So this happened with my compact dagger. All I had to do was polish the entry of the barrel and feed ramp. Fixed the issue.

Glock factory mag as in 43x mag? I live in a 10 round capacity state and PSA doesn't offer 10rd for the micro atm.
The the screw on the right hand side that Holosun provided is too long, and it's touching against the extractor. You need a shorter screw

Like Tyler said it's PSA. This is a "factory" PSA Micro Dagger C-1. All we did to it is add a red dot on the slide (factory cut too).

What holster are you guys using? Having a hard time finding one that works with the TLR7 that has decent retention.
I'm using a Trex sidecar, compact dagger with TLR7. Good retention. Decently comfy but I recommend a wedge
