Thank you for this video my friend 👍. I have yet to find a large Case stockman. The one you have is beautiful! I recently picked up a Case tiny hunter previously owned, made in 2000 in excellent condition for $100. I also picked my first Case congress, also made in 2000 for $175, and a Case medium stockman from 2000 for $100. These are the first knives that I ever bought used. All are in excellent condition. I think they were all owned by the same collector because 2 of them came in the same style tin. I'm up to 52 Case knives now!
In regards to the steel performance, Case's Tru-Sharp is just a fancy name for 420HC, which is why it leaves much to be desired; it'd be nice if they could figure out how to heat treat it like Buck does, since that'd squeeze some more performance out of it, but it is what it is.
Heck... I thought you might find a small male mammal to test the spay blade doing what it was originally designed to do. I think you covered the subject of why we collect & carry traditionals very well. The Case medium Stockman is THE icon in an ocean of iconic knives. And the scales on yours are absolutely awesome!
Not a fan of Stockmans… two blades or fewer for me. I know, I’m the weirdo, everybody loves stockmans! But the kirinite is beautiful!! Good stuff brother 👊🏻

I'll get my dad to let me film him using a Case knife to de-ball a cat sometime😂
Thanks for watching, man
Pretty, kinda reminds me of a Yellowhorse Navajo inlay.
Thanks for watching!

Just got to love a Stockman.
Absolutely!
Wanted to get one for my dad, but wondering if they make one in like nitro v or something like that.. I'll just have to look
No Nitro-V as of now. Would love to see Case expand their steel catalogue. Thanks for watching!
