I have walked away from gerber a while ago. People can get much nicer blades from almost any other company. Their designs are interesting, but the materials and quality just isnt there. Nowadays, IF i ever want a gerber product, I'd buy it used to help not encourage their nonsense. That's my 2 cents anyway

Quality thorough review, I appreciate that. Bought this knife after losing a very similar Chinese boy scout knife I carried and loved for years, if it gets that familiar feeling in my hand that I'm looking for then it'll be a great upgrade. Price seems fair to me for the USA made-ed-ness, crossbar lock, and build quality. I like a heavier knife and I'm used to the very slight resistance of washers so I might be a uniquely well suited customer. We'll see when it arrives.

Looks like a good idea to me. Can't wait to see you test it. So this morning I looked online to see what my Walmart had in stock for knives. According to the webpage, they have that Civivi gift package in store for $25. I hopped in my car and scooted to Walmart. I get there, and they don't have any. I'm soooooo frustrated with Walmart!

It's actually pretty big for a traditional. The blades are as long or longer than a PM2. They are longer than my GEC #54 Big Jack. It's really an excellent knife.

Minimum for me is a 7 1/2 inch knife with atleast a 3 1/4 inch blade. That’s due to the size of my hands. A perfect knife is 8 1/2 inches with 3.6 inch blade. That’s my happy place.

I've had a camillus carnivore for about a decade that has been abused countless times and served as my bush whacker under the back seat of my truck on many adventures, for the quality I'd say the camillus would still be worth it at nearly 3 times the price. I've been wanting to grab myself an srk for a while, though hopefully soon

Nostalgia. I had an “autistic” love of knives as a child and my father feed my interest. I loved Swiss Army knives and had many of them. Then my father passed away and I asked my stepmother for my father and I’s knife collection. She told me “it’s somewhere in the attic and I’m not going up there right now. Long story short, she never gave me the collection which was the ONLY thing of my dad’s I asked for. We have never spoken after my dad’s passing. I’d like to break the ice by saying “FUCK YOU PENNY OXENDINE!” Yeah I put my family’s dirty laundry out there with first aid last names mentioned. Penny, I forgive you but let me tell you…. You didn’t deserve a man like my dad. If you are still alive, find Jesus, otherwise you are going straight to Hell

I just got It to throw on my carbine keyring holder. It's just a little knife and emergency sharpener to keep with my keys. Most keychain sized knives aren't great. But this one is small but substantial at the same time

I have the same knife and haven’t had any issues with it. I got mine on Amazon for less than $20. Nice review on this one. 👍
