In Nate's case I've noticed that whenever he covers a song it's usually pretty on cue with the normal version. He doesn't really vary it too much, and makes it easy to synchronize his version with the original. I did that with Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, Fist Bump, and many others and they line up perfectly (the Fist Bump sync sounds so good, it feels weird for me to listen to the original after the number of times I've listened to them sycned). Another thing in Nate's case is just that I feel like his voice is one that can be synchronized with just about anyone, but his duets with AmaLee are always amazing (their cover of the Black and White theme is awesome, and so are their Rising of the Shield Hero covers)
