  • Follow along as I build out of rough sawn lumber from a local circular saw mill. I build a 2.5 cord firewood shed, load and deliver it to my customer.
Not a how to.... just a how I do it, and in typical JFF fashion, dropping, breaking, pushing equipment to its limits and more.

    I would want it taller
    for easier access.
I would want the roof larger
    in four directions.
    5/4 floor planks or
    two foot spans.
Wire mesh walls, 2"X 4" mesh.
    Concrete block ground contact.
A front to back center divider.
Welded wire mesh fence would be cheaper, faster, more durable, lighter weight and would dry the wood better.
The divider could help support the roof and help to rotate out the old wood.

While most of that would be nice, this is the build the customer wanted, built heavy duty enough to withstand the rest of time, and of materials that will blend in over time to their current area.
Also, there are concrete blocks under each of the runners, though it is overkill as they are oak runners.
