Greetings from Texas. Thank you for the fantastic video. About to watch your other videos on Paris. Visited Paris in 2022 with my teenagers. Versailles was definitely the highlight of our trip. I would recommend getting there an hour and a half before opening. Also, take time to visit Marie Antoinettes quaint hamlet and have lunch at La Flotille Restaurant on the grounds. God bless
We loved visiting Versailles, and it was one of the highlights of our trip! We were in Paris a couple of years earlier, and we didn’t have time to get there, so we made sure to plan it this time. Thanks for the recommendation of La Flotille Restaurant. We would definitely love to live in Paris…but we just couldn’t afford to lol. Thank you for watching, and for your kind words, we really appreciate it :)
Hopefully, you will make it there some day soon! It certainly is well worth the short trip outside of Paris to see this spectacular Palace. We're glad that we could show you some of it, and thank you for watching :)
We love Paris, and would love to live there (but just couldn't afford it lol). Visiting the Palace of Versailles was so spectacular, and was one of our favourite parts of our trip. That's interesting about the trees. Thanks for watching :)
The Palace is just "over-the-top beautiful"! We were in Paris about 4 years ago, but we only had a couple of days and weren't able to get there. This time we made sure that we could spend a day touring the Palace and exploring the town. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you for watching :)
We had a fantastic holiday in Europe, and amazing weather the whole time that we were there! Just a few moments of rain after we came out of the Palace, and then the sun came out. The Palace of Versailles is absolutely stunning, as are the Gardens. The galettes and crepes were really good, and the whole day was a highlight of our trip. Nice to hear from you Gioia, and thank you for watching :)
My friend who lives in France told me to go to the Musee of Rodin umm I'm sorry but I am on a cruise and I get one day and there is no way in hell I am going to miss seeing Versaille. I mean this is just incredible and honestly I love architecture of sculpture. I also feel like seeing a museum and paintings and sculptures you need at least 10 days in France. I also really wanted to see a show at the Moulin Rouge but I don't think I will have time. So maybe a Siene cruise and Versaille. This is just incredible.
The last time we were in Paris, we missed seeing Versailles, so it was at the top of the list this time! We're so happy that we went, as it is just absolutely breath-taking. We also did a Seine River boat cruise (which we did a video on) and it was really enjoyable and great value. We hope you enjoy your cruise, and your time in Paris. Thanks for watching :)
As beautiful as all those places are, I think I would have gone to the crepe place where you guys went and just stayed there. haha Did you find any great creperies in Montreal that you could recommend as I suddenly have a craving :)
Thanks for watching! We did go to a great creperie in Montreal last summer, over by Atwater Market. It's called Spanel Crepes Et Gourmets on Notre-Dame St. West. We really liked their crepes, and it seemed to be quite popular, as there was a line up to get in. Cheers :)
How far was the trek from the city itself to the town of Versailles? This was so informative and as usual so many beautiful spaces. For the whole video I was busy identifying spots for my photos 🤭🤭
It took us about 40 minutes from our apartment in Le Marais in an Uber, to get to the Palace. Depending where you are in Paris, it's about 20-30 km. Versailles Palace is so over-the-top spectacular, it's crazy! We spent about 1 1/2 hours exploring inside, and about 2 hours checking out the gardens, and we still didn't see all of it. It's definitely a must see, when in Paris :)

We had the pleasure of visiting this spectacular part of the world. What a joy it was! Amazing. Many of the trees planted on the property are from 🇨🇦.
