Love how you are showing your travels on a separate channel. I think you should do follow on videos on how/ strategies for booking. You kind of allude but think people would love video and then here’s how that you could like over to
My favorite room @ Versailles? All of them.
Great video and tips. Booked and excited! Yes to tartar and escargot. Delish. 🐮
Enjoy! :)
Love the travel videos your reviews are so real lol
I appreciate that!
🐮 thank you for sharing!
🐮Thanks for the video. Going to Versailles (staying at the WA) in July for a short 3 day trip then off to Spain for the rest of the week. Staying near Versailles most of the trip (eat at Gordon Ramsey's and visit the Palace) and plan on an Evening trip to Paris for 1 night. Made reservations at L'Oiseau Blanc per your other video.
Awesome! Enjoy! :)
Recommend mount st Michel for your next trip and the Google chombord castle for the fairytale region. U and Mandy are living a great life Seb. Respect
2:40 first tikenive ever seen you smile and laugh 😂
W Sunday Sebby
You and Mandy should do a collab of your favorite ever hotel stays.🐄
Ugh. I despise showers that have doors like that. Other than that, beautiful albeit pretty basic for a Waldorf.
I’d love to stay an extra 2 days or so and bike around the property.
I’m surprised they didn’t upgrade you, would think status is more valuable overseas since a lot of cards that offer status are American
There was a conference during our stay, so everything was booked up. Even the Michelin star restaurant on property was closed for a private event :(
When you said “buttery gummy bear” I hollered 😂😂😂 Thats true😂
Easiest way to make it "less weird" for people 🫠
Any recommendations on how to get cheaper room rates in Paris? Everyone says go in the off season like the Fall but I’m looking at Marriott and the rates are basically unchanged! Looking to book on points and have the Brilliant card for Platinum status.
I feel like Fall is shoulder season. Off-season would be Jan-Apr.
Your best bets would be at the edges of shoulder season. Nov/Dec (probably 2 weeks before Christmas/NYE) or Mar/Apr.
Also, lots of travel demand right now with Olympics and people wanting to see stuff afterwards as well.
@@SebbyFung good tips! Thanks!!
Is that a panda on oysterflex. Didn't know they had that combo
You can buy the Oysterflex separately. Makes it lighter and more comfortable, especially in hot weather 🫠
🐮 do you mind sharing your equipments for filming, etc.?
Mics = DJI Mic 2
Outdoors = DJI Pocket 3 + iPhone 14 Pro Max
Room tours = Sony A7 III + 14mm GM + DJI RS 3 Mini + Sony ECM-B1M (mostly backup)
The most French soundtrack ever on this video 😂

🎉❤
We basically did your France trip last year Sebby. Except with a baby lol. Stayed at the Park Hyatt and then WA Versailles. Initially planned on going to Champagne but we had to work on this trip and got stuck in Paris longer than expected. Next time you’re at Park Hyatt ask for their suite with the balcony overlooking Rue De La Paix. We had to pay but you’re globalist so maybe they’ll hook it up.
I think they tried to upsell us that suite for $300-$400 lol.
@@SebbyFung worth the extra space if you have a kid. Rack rate was like 3k I think. One thing I don’t hear talked about much is how if you’re willing to pay cash for the room Hyatt lets you upgrade with points for relatively good CPP value. Or alternatively book with points and upgrade with cash on site for a lot less than rack rate.
(not there yet but...) any tips on traveling with a baby? LOL
@@SebbyFung you’re already doing most of it. Fly business, stay at hotels and tell them you have a baby, which in my experience helps you get room upgrades as long as you have status. Most hotels will have cribs for free and babysitting services at a premium (the one at Park Hyatt Paris insisted on being able to order dinner from the Michelin starred restaurant while we were out for the night lol). Know which airlines allow free lap infants vs. 25% cash value. Just expect it will cost a lot more than you think and you’ll be very exhausted for a lot of it (say goodbye to sleeping in) but it’s super fun and you’ll cherish those memories forever. Excited for your baby traveler influencer phase 😅
@@SebbyFung oh and buy a stroller where the seat converts to a car seat. Nuna makes a good one.
Team hercules 😮😮
🐮🐮🐮
Crazy Rich Asians kind of ruined it with their “Inspired by the hall of mirror in Versailles” scene.
