@@GlennHolmesLA yes sir👍
Thanks Glenn! I’ll be using this with two different students this weekend. One is a beginner, one with experience. The beginner will be a more focused on technique session (punches and footwork) while I’ll use this as a burnout to finish the mitt session with the more experienced boxer. And I love using these mitts! The wrist support/padding makes a huge difference! 🥊🥊
hi Tony, thanks mate for that feedback, sounds amazing, hope it goes well, let me know
@@GlennHolmesLA, both sessions went well! Focused on footwork and weight shifts with the beginner, the burnout was a hit with the more experienced boxer. This 5-minute session is now a staple for my training sessions moving forward. Thanks Glenn! 🥊🥊
I agree Tony using the routine with the experienced boxer. A beginner would know very little about punching technique, footwork, distance etc. They would need quite a few sessions to even progress to this basic routine. Good work 👍
Awesome stuff coach
thank you mate 👊🏻 did you try it?
@@GlennHolmesLA interestingly I'm just starting out as a boxing coach, will be trying it out with a colleague very soon
Agreed. I’ve tried this with a few clients, and they love it
fire content :)
thx mate, hope you can use it
Satisfied
👊🏻👊🏻 gonna do more of these
1 hour waterbag workout please or 45 minutes? Would be awesome! Thnx for the fine work.
ill work on a vid for this mate, 👊🏻
Good Jop mate
thx mate
I need to relearn so bad, haven’t done pad work in years

I will. I gotta relearn bad@@GlennHolmesLA
@5:50 she was great. x
👊🏻
I am planning to start training my kids myself I know a thing or 2 about training and fighting but never really held the mitts for more than a few minutes! It feels foreign to me what’s the fastest way to get comfy with the mitts
good stuff mate, just doing it as much as you can really, practice, hopefully some of the vids on the channel will help you too, but try to catch southpaw & orthodox as much as possible and start with the fundamentals only for a while
Video 📸
just recorded a 10 min one, coming soon
Glenn, you’ve put a link but you’re mitts are still showing sold out when are you expecting stock?
hey Tony, thanks for your message mate. They should be back in stock early next week, we just ran out! Thanks for checking in mate, hit me again if you don't see them back on the store in a week. Cheers, Glenn
quick question when i do the pads i dont move in to catch the punches, the way it was done back in the 80s was just to hold the pads up now a days they seem to chatch the punches it does look better and sound better but i feel it does not help with the boxer developing a sense of distance and fully extending the arm . whats your view on this ?
it definitely can, you definitely have to meet the punches somewhat, it’s about range & timing to make sure the boxer can execute with good form & full extension
is this okay for teens?, and also is this okay without a partner just shadowbox?
totally, i created it for you to use in shadow boxing & heavy bag too, hope it helps mate, let
me know how you get on with it
Is that Ali in a Lakers vest? 😅
yep
