“What you knew in your childhood is true; the Otherworld of magic and enchantment is real, sometimes terribly real - and certainly more real than the factual reality which our culture has built up, brick by brick, to shut out colour and light and prevent us from flying.”

Ya know I've been an emotional wreck today from lack of sleep, working too much, and being in a lot of pain in my legs and back. I know they say animals don't have souls. I just can't imagine something like my deceased dog that loved us so much and we loved her, that she didn't have a soul? And the presence of her is not what I feel keeping me company in my house. So much so that if I drop something I look for her to beat me to it. And then I see the empty spot where her food bowls were and tell myself it's my imagination. I've felt her presence all day.

I believe i was blessed by the fairy folk a few years ago while walking out in nature with my daughter & son in law because all of a sudden the flowers seemed to change colour & some how the buttercups seemed to light up really brightly , they seemed to shimmer. Only i could see this magick & i felt so blessed

We see only what we have learned to see. I whole heartedly agree. I have vivid memories of being able to float and fly as a child just by kicking my feet up behind me and I take off. It was always at night and just brushed of as a dream, but it was so real, and I still remember the feeling of soaring through the air so vividly, even now at 57 years old! I love your vlogs. They are so calming and gentle. There is so much aggression and manic energy in society today. You are a blessing.

This is so inspirational! You do this often where you simply amble and think aloud and the result is pure gold. I mean, this is real treasure, Colette. Such happy thoughts, such a peaceful place.

Jack was down visiting w/ his friends! Animals, like children can still see that Other World. You are so right about how we are less fearful of the unknown as we get older. I agree that we see very little of whats really there. This was a lovely, relaxing little stroll/chat - thank you!

As a child, I was always daydreaming at school and can remember the nuns ( it was a convent school) complaining I was ‘ away with the fairies ‘ all the time. x

I remember years ago walking through this area of trees and green grass about 40 ft wide, it ran the length between two roads, it was full of faeries, it was amazing, I was an adult at the time, and so blessed to of seen this. The next time I went past this place I did not see them, now the trees have been cut down, and they have gone.

It is ironic listening to your reflections about these ethereal connections which we often disable in our lives, I myself have awakened, impacted by a 'dream' and talk myself into ordinariness to somehow move away from (what I now feel is sacred) the usual connections made while sleeping. I believe, that even if we are sleeping, we are still aware, still sentient - or at least I seem to be!

Love the moss area. The connection between worlds its so magical. I love that time of the day, that is not dark but is not light . It's the time between worlds. It's magical. You can feel your spirit absorbing all the energy and wisdom that is been shared by the enlightening Beings. The fear you had 15 years ago is gone because now you and the land are One.Total communion with the land is pure magic. Nice video. Thanks for sharing.

I must add that I’ve also had many experiences with the other world. I am what’s called ‘sensitive’ but I stop them. I stop out of fear. People do t understand and think I’m a bit creepy, this is a subject a bit difficult because there’s almost no audience who understands. Thanks for being open,

I was hesitant to watch this earlier today, glad I watched it now. I have had 'other worldly' experiences. Its not that I'm afraid of them.... I still have a fear of death. Knowing I can't do anything about that is scary, because I have no control over it.
I don't remember any of those experience from my early childhood, I most likely had them and forgotten. But last couple of years I have had paranormal encounters or dreams that I even I find strange.

Blessed mabon, Colette. I fully enjoy the tours of your precious land.in this video, there are,as I see,a good many faces formed by shadows and vines.there were 2 especially vivid, little grays making their presence known. I feel ,deeply, that the faerie friends created by Cecily Mary Barker would be at home in your gardens and pathways.blessings on all you do to care for the sacred Mother.

It is so magical and intriguing when the writing takes over. I've experienced that a few times in my life myself. You are a fabulous storyteller, Colette. When you were walking down the new view path above the fairy wood and telling the tale, my eyes kept getting wider and wider. Blessings, on you dear one.

yep i know where your coming from, when i was a lot younger, i had an out of body, not near death, experience, and no, no drugs no alcohol, and it totally changed the way i viewed things, i became more accepting of things, seen heard or just felt, and yep, ive experienced, a lot of what others would call creepy or weird stuff, but to me, its just sort of normal, call it a learning curve, it just is ?

Goddess bless💝. Synchronous feelings into the limitless worlds of faery! Saturday early evening 5 pm PST, I was in an enchanted state, as well. Mossy trees and rocks surrounded me and found the deers' trail through the oaks. Omi goddess! I am still thrilled by the rainbows that were cast by the sun through the trees. I accepted healing of the angelic kind and the blessings of the green Mother. Blessed bkessed be.
Thank you for sharing these intimate thoughts, i.e. the writing and its enchanting process. I have similar reveries!😁
Watercolors are in the works too.
Sacred blessings of Art, my dear sister.

Colette, this video sure makes one think. I live in the United States. However, sometimes I feel deep inside me, a connection to my ancestors. I am the scientific type so I immediately thing of DNA and chromosomes. We humans so obviously have some of the DNA our ancient ancestors carried. I feel it sometimes so strongly in some of the things I love such as being immersed in the natural world, etc. Do you think it is true?

At the risk of sounding silly, I have always had this ability of having a particular sense about people, places and things and every time you would walk through your fairywood while watching your videos Id get these feelings that there was more in that area than met the eye. I almost wrote you to be cautious in how much to trim back in there but obviously from what you said at the beginning of your video you have a healthy respect for these things. Just last week I had the uncanny thought that you might be starting to venture more in there. Hope that doesnt sound too strange to you but needed to share it.

The French have the name deja vu for the experience of having been in a place before, but which you are actually seeing for the first time. But they also have the term "jamais vu," or, "never seen," for the equally weird experience of being some place very familiar, but having the feeling that you have never been there. That is what happened to me when I was about 16. My brother and I slept in the same room in twin beds separated by a night stand. I had a wall lamp over my bed for reading. I awoke deep in the night once, straight out of a deep sleep. I can remember no dreams, but suddenly I was fully awake in the darkness of our room, which was dimly visible, and I was dead certain that I had never been there before. Yet another part of me, at the same time, knew that I was in bed in my own room, and an internal debate began. Rationally I knew that it was my bedroom, that there was my brother sleeping not 4 feet away, but another part of me was consumed by feelings of upset and bafflement upon waking up in a completely strange and unfamiliar environment. Both were me. There is no question about that. I turned on my reading light, and still, part of me was certain that I had never been in this place before. And my rationsl mind knew exactly where I was. It took almost 5 or 10 minutes for the feeling to fade away. But I knew, not guessed, not speculated -- knew -- that I inhabited, lived in, was a person, in some way, in more lives or places than I consciously knew. This is why, on the day of my wedding here in this reality, that I invited all of me to the wedding, and the ensuing rush of energy told me that my invitation had been answered, and accepted.

Enjoying your videos very much! Do you walk barefoot on the ground? It's amazing! Or perhaps leather sole shoes, rubber soles insulate you from the earth.
Also I think that by looking straight at something our logical brain engages, I have better luck seeing non logical sights in my peripheral vision.
Do you sell your books in America? I live in the states and have been trying to buy a book but every time I click "pay with PayPal" I get sent to "about:blank" which is literally a blank screen, it goes no further. I use the link below your videos and have tried several times with no luck.
