I have to say, I went on to re-watch The Unseen Host in the Fairy Wood. One of my favorite videos. It magical for sure. SammyBear was playing with the fairies 🧚🏻♀️ who came out early to play, I’m just convinced of it! You talked about Kristi and her donation and how it moved you to tears. I loved how your dreams manifested into reality that day. But, one of my favorite things is just after the 29 minute mark, where you zoom in on the setting sun reflecting off of a tree. I could stare at that one thing all day as it is just absolutely beautiful. You have truly created an amazing place and we are blessed that you chose to share it with us! Thank you Dear Colette. ❤️
I have to laugh, we had a tree with a hole as children. When mom made veggie soup I'd ask to eat outdoors and dump mine in the tree. It probably thrived on it.
Enjoyed the peaceful walk and look at the gorgeous land Colette Jack you are a very good boy you listen to your mom very well 🐶❤blessed day Colette thank you for sharing your beautiful life and land 😀🌻🌷❤
It looks a beautiful day there . We have about 4 inches of snow here in Kent , and it's here for the week so they say . Keep warm all of you , Blessings xxxx
Utter nonsense...love it! I’ve grown many things in dappled shade that do fine even when rated for full sun. As a side note, I was rear ended in my car today, we all now how that sets off the adrenaline! I was able to drive home, make a strong cup of calming tea, watched this video and the jitters subsided. Bealtaine, birdsong in the background and your lovely narrative garden walks are healing in more ways than you know. Blessings.
It’s so peaceful there. I love all the care and thoughtfulness you have put into the land. The animals are so funny too! This is peaceful for me to watch these videos and learn. Thank you much from New Jersey!
Hello there you need a little trolley to put your kindling in to whilst out, I remember that beast from the east, lol it was awfully cold. Lovely day you had, there
The plastic is mostly likely polyethelene. Plastic on a tunnel will break down in a few years but the degrading in poly is mostly in loss of light transfer. When I take the poly off my big tunnel I move it to another where I store firewood for drying. Great stuff!
How lovely it all looks like there, even if it is cold enough to freeze over the pond. The sunshine surprises me as I had thought Ireland was always wet. As ever, your walks and talks are a balm to soothe my soul. Especially appreciated during a current rough patch, I feel stuck in the brambles on this highway called life. Thank you and blessings to all at Bealtaine Cottage.
Love the walk today. Homemade bread with homemade hummus and avocado is my favorite breakfast! It is exactly what I had before heading to the community garden (an old dairy farm that is now Trust land and gardened in community, no individual plots) to work this morning. Hope you are having a wonderful day in your garden today!
Ah I do love a wander with you. It’s bitter here in West Yorkshire with fairly deep snow. I’m hibernating till it thaws. Thank you for sharing your beautiful woodland x
here in germany we say..........where there is moss are also fairies.......i believe on this little people every time when i am be in Dublin,i throw bread or cookie over the half penny bridge for the fairies under the bridge.....i know,i am a bit crazy, but thats me........
Hello Collette, great to see Bealtaine's beautiful gardens even under the start of the beast from the east weather, and so sad to see the frozen frog spawn altho it is nature.. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, with all your wisdom, influence and reach amongst the online masses, do encourage viewers to remember to not only put out food for wildlife, but remember to put out clean, fresh water daily cos most of our non -running water ( and even our canals) are freezing over, like your pond. I walk around the allotments with a hammer, breaking the frozen surface of water butts so the birds can drink. No, I'm not a dangerous person at large with a blunt weapon, really. Bless you and thank you for all your beautiful videos xx xx
Gosh... it looks so beautiful and sunny... and the water and pond is iced over. Bloomin cold!! I wonder, does Ireland have ticks? I just remember midges and wolf spiders... earwigs... those creepy crawlies. Stay safe and warm Colette, Jack, Sammy bear and Beauty. Raven and Dobby, our Grey's and all of us here wish you well. 💐
Yes, there are ticks, during the summer. I remove any I see on my pets. Occasionally I have to remove one from me too. I have never seen them as a particular problem.
Collette, I don’t recall ever seeing rabbits in your gardens. Are there any and if so what varieties? We enjoy watching the wild rabbits frolic from dusk to dawn here in the south west of Florida.
Colette, let me know if you get snowed in. I will hook my Jack Russell's to a sled and send Edward with supplies. It may take awhile as he is coming from Waterford and the Jack Russell's have short legs. So does Edward! Respect, C Annette 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶⛄⛄⛄⛄⛄⛄⛄⛄⛄⛄⛄⛄⛄⛄⛄
Thank you Colette for the lovely and interesting video. Wondering about two things. What state is the Spring Well in with the cold? and Is Sammy Bear hibernating?
I'm sure the question must pass from time to time why Fairies, Leprechauns, and pixies live in Ireland more than anywhere else. The answer is rather simple; the people there believe in them.
Such an achievement what a beautiful woodland
Such a magical place you have. Wish I had friends like you.
How I love your fairy forest.
Mine works too. I used the Woodglut plans and performed it without any problems.
"I saw the branches of the trees
Bend down thy touch to meet,
The clover-blossoms in the grass
Rise up to kiss thy feet.."
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Thank you for another lovely ‘dander’ through the woods... seems like more than 3 acres!!

Oh! That bread, hummus and avocado sound delicious! I need to try that at home.

I bet faeries find such refuge at Bealtaine, so cool!
Thanks for the very instructive video. Greenland is the new north cold spot, climatologists say.
Ice is amazing. I don’t get frost in my area but I love to see hoar frost on the grass in Norfolk.
Gorgeous vid. So glad you're okay! The nerd in me is always desperate to know the actual temperature! lol. Stay safe, lovely ones. ;-)
The birdsong says volumes...watch out for that naughty cat!:)
I love they way you "heart" all your comments...you must be clicking all day! :)
Blessed be tree.
Beautiful walk this morning Colette, thank-you. What is the lovely lush dark green plant you have arched?
laurel

Do you have elderberry trees also? I love what you have done with the land and house.
Collette, I don’t recall ever seeing rabbits in your gardens. Are there any and if so what varieties? We enjoy watching the wild rabbits frolic from dusk to dawn here in the south west of Florida.
We have hares here in the west of Ireland...very few, if any, rabbits.
Whenever I want to know what the weather is going to be like I go straight to my state's weather bureau website.

Alder, willow and River Birch (red birch) love wet soil
That Ash tree looks like a Cracken!
Thank you Colette for the lovely and interesting video. Wondering about two things. What state is the Spring Well in with the cold? and Is Sammy Bear hibernating?
Spring well is fine...it never freezes. SammyBear is in my bed...almost permanently.
I'm sure the question must pass from time to time why Fairies, Leprechauns, and pixies live in Ireland more than anywhere else. The answer is rather simple; the people there believe in them.
I'll carry Beauty if she gets tired. She's a cutie!
She's also incredibly independent...but, I rather suspect she'll be a femme fatale for you. Temple Bar is fascinating...
Oh I hope! I will have kitty withdrawal. =) But I also honor and respect the boundaries of animals and humans. No sense in stressing anyone.
Hello 😊here from Puerto Rico !
