- After disappearing from Osea's radar, we join the Kestrel in an operation to rescue President Harling from a castle in Belka! You are restricted to carrier aircrafts for this mission, and I decided to take the F-14B for it, its GPBs can come in handy against Tanks, sadly, its Yaw capabilities are pretty poor, making gun kills on ground targets much more annoying to get.
Most of the mission will be spent destroying respawning Tanks, AA guns and SAMs, but some enemy fighters will join the fray too, just keep Sea Goblin safe until their operation is complete!
This mission pretty much confirms that the briefing voice in this game is a computer. That's why we have the same voice giving the briefings both before and after mission 19 even though no "briefing officer" escaped Sand Island with Wardog. The voice also sounds robotic.
As a bonus, it's the same briefing voice in AC7's LRSSG arc (Though I think that one's only in English). Though I guess it's also possible that the briefing officer had fled Sand Island before Wardog did.
Ultimately, it's a minor detail that'll never be elaborated on, so players can make their own theories.
@@MrLemmy82 I guess that is possible. Maybe Perrault pulled a gun on him too? Or maybe he found out about Hamilton's treachery and fled before anything could be done to him?
@@galacticknight55544 It's possible, yeah. He could've seen the signs ahead of time, or maybe worked with Pops to secure a liaison to the Kestrel.
