They are all so cute, love the fox and the bird. What a great idea making those little stands so that you can paint your pins. With the pins you got with the tiny bases you could add a small ring of clay around the base then spread it out for more stability. Thank you.
Thank you again Sarah, I love the advice you gave on this tutorial, I could watch your videos all day, so calming and relaxing and your 'contraption' is an excellent idea, you have so much talent ☺️
Love your videos, you have help me A lot thank you. Me & MY children have found a new love of clay & we sit there for hours making lots of things. A big thank you from me & my little family 👍

Thank you for this wonderful idea. I have been wondering for a while what to make for mother for her birthday. I watched this video which has inspired me to make a few pins for her to wear.
Hi, I'm loving your designs & the fact that you share your templates is wonderful & truly appreciated. I'm a Chandler and have been wanting to create small designs like some of these to add to the front of my vessels Or atop my flat wooden lids. I love adding texture & wondered if they'd be strong enough with the right sealant. And Thx to your vids I'm now pretty Sure they'll work. So I can bring my ideas 4 more Specialty Vessels a reality. I'd even try using mini glass beads & other small embellishments. I'd been going back & forth on what type of clay to use. I especially enjoyed the lovely Angel Wings you made. I can't stop thinking of ideas like puffy colorful balloons w/ real strings 4 Birthdays w/ Names in special fonts by using my vinyl cutter as a template, florals, animal prints, unicorns &... lol the ideas are Endless. I love the Bears & Foxes. TFS... You are truly Gifted & Appreciated. 😊🙌
I suppose it depends how heavy the lid would be, I do all of mine for craft purposes and don't sell them, so I know you need to make absolutely sure they are not going to come loose. I love all of your creative ideas, enjoy ❤️ and thank you
*I do that with all my crafting cut the excess off for easier handling. I'm sure one day they'll have a machine that will cut out clay things. I enjoy seeing new things being shared. I've been wanting to do this with clay. I enjoy working with molds. 😁😁😁* Sharon in SC
Lovely tutorial and you have such a relaxing voice it makes me want to watch a few more after this one!! Thanks for sharing your excellent ideas with us! I love all your designs.🙂🙂🌸💖
Thank you for this upload, I am really appreciating your calm (soothing?) walk through of your processes, the bottle top with plasticine is simple but genius) :D Your designs are super cute too :)
Thank you, definitely a winner the fox, I'm making lots for Christmas, will pin onto a little card and add a cello bag and i'm sure people will love them 😍
Excellent video!! I've just bought some DAS from Hobbycraft (thought I'd buy some Fimo but it was SO expensive!) and I'm raring to make something right now!! I'll give it a go this evening, as I already have lots of supplies that I never use at home like acrylic paint and stuff. I've watched many a clay pin making video, but they all use oven clay and resin, but I just think it's a bit of a faff to be honest. The only think I need is the lacquer spray! I knew there was a more beginner-friendly and easier way to make pins! So glad you made this video, big Big thanks xx
@@RedRockingBird I'm loving it! It's so much fun, but also such a chill exercise. I preserve my clay in a tupperware folded over with a damp cloth over it and it stays moist so I can work with it whenever I like, which is just ace! No way will I try oven bake clay now!!
I love the fox then I love the toadstool. The bird is so sweet too. Nope can't decide on a fav lol. U really are so talented. Just downloaded Yr template and may have a go at an easier one tomorrow xx
Thank you, these have to be one of my favourite things to make, I’m currently making lots of different pin badges in many different way….pin central 😆 Have a great day
Oh my goodness!! Such a great tutorial for air dry clay! When you put the pins on the back of the wet clay did you add more clay on top of the pin bar to hold it on? Thanks for such a great tutorial. I subscribed to your channel.
@@RedRockingBird I cut them yesterday, today they are drying....I think I made them waaaay to thin! I might make fridge magnets with these thinner ones. And over the weekend will try again to make pins. I'm looking forward to painting them. I think that will be a challenge yours look amazing with real tiny details that make them super cute
@@KingsDaughter. best of luck, sure they will be lovely, a bit thicker would be more durable as you know, I love making and painting these, a good fine paint brush work well
i love your videos I made coasters out of air dry clay, painted them with acrylic paint and then coated them with varnish. Unfortunately, some of the cups stick to it and there is also lint trapped in the paint. Do you have an idea what kind of paint is suitable to protect the coasters in a stable and heat-resistant way? How can I prevent small lint from getting in? Could it be the brush?
Glad you are enjoying some projects, when varnish is drying out a Tupperware container lovely over to prevent dust landing on them. Did you see the coasters I made in my ‘air dry clay and resin’ video?
My favourite at the mo is the fox, which is yours?

I recommend sticking a textile back and glue the back metal thingy to it otherwise it will break super easy. Even the super glue will fall off ;)
