You are correct - PB2 was the very first company to make powdered peanut butter. , They were my first experience with PB2 as well and so they hold a special place in my heart.

In South Africa our almond, cashew and macadamia nut butters are very liquid by comparison to peanut butter but I still find them very dry

Tami, have you tried sprinking PB2 (dry) onto ice cream, cereal, etc. yet per my suggestion? I like it dry; maximizes the PB flavor.

Thank you for the review. I have tried both of those flavors. I LOVE the Madagascar Vanilla flavor. I'm a huge fan of vanilla, so didn't mind that it was intense. I have tried the other brand (Peanut Butter & Co.) of vanilla powdered peanut butter that you mentioned. I remember that it was good, but I haven't had it in a couple years, so would have to get it again to see how it compares to the PB2.
I liked the strong almond taste of the powdered almond butter, but couldn't get over the texture. It was too paste-like, even when I added more water. I'll finish the jar I have now, but won't buy it again. I would definitely buy the vanilla again, though.

I love the PB & Co. Vanilla. The texture of the almond even after adding more water was like paste. Everything about it was a solid no for me. I hate wasting the money, but it's not worth it to me to dread meals. I'm glad you at least like the vanilla.

@@TamiDunn Yes, I agree that the almond butter was like paste, and adding extra water did not improve the texture. One thing I will try is mixing the powdered almond butter into oatmeal. I like the flavor well enough, so it might work in oatmeal -- maybe with some fresh peaches on top -- rather than reconstituted as a sandwich spread. Almond butter + peaches is a winning combination. :-)

I tried the Barney Butter almond butter powder and that was terrible too, in my opinion. I just don't think they can be powdered the way peanuts are. I had to mix it with pb2, add chocolate chips and make a mug cake out of it. 😍 I bet if anyone can figure out a use for it, you can!

Just tried the powered almond butter. Put a tad of honey and water and make a drink. I love it!! I'm not sure whats going on their palette.

We review the product the way the manufacturer directs. In our opinion, you should not have to add honey to make it taste decent.

It's better to use in cooking dishes. For example, making peanut Asian dishes like peanut satay or a peanut stir fry. Works really well for that. Also for baking. Add it to brownies instead of real peanut butter. You get the same peanutty taste while cutting back on calories and fat.

I agree with their other flavors, but not these. They were absolutely horrible.

I’ve returned food items I’ve ordered on Amazon that I haven’t been pleased with. They’ve always given me a refund. Worth a try especially since it was expensive.

'eaten as a power' - if it wasn't so expensive, eating it a full spoonful at a time could've become the next 'cinnamon challenge'

I’m team Skippy but I wish I could get onto the powdered train. I just didn’t like the taste of regular PB2 that I ordered. I wish I could taste these without having to spend a fortune getting them shipped!

As of today, the almond powder is now $19.99 and the peanut is unavailable. That's a shame it's too expensive to try.☹️

We give everything to Andrew & Christina and if they don't like something, Andrew has a close friend that he gives things to or he takes things to work. I have also given food to my sister and her family.

Powdered almond butter sounds nasty. Almond butter is already less good than peanut butter and now they want to powder it? Lol
