I love Air Asia and Air AsiaX, flown with them many many times and the are really good. Food is excellent (buy when you book) cabin crew are superb and so polite. They offer value for money and are very punctual.
I truly agree with you! I really dislike flying low-cost but I would make an exception for AirAsia and its subsidiaries. I'm happy that you enjoy them as well! - FlightTravels
@FlightTravels - how much is the departure tax from singapore to kuala lumpur and vice versa? i'll be travelling soon, so that i can set my pocket money for the trip. thank you.
it always amazes me how people could still be doing BOB for such a short flight, but the meals on AK are indeed delicious and the crews are most of the time cheerful and upbeat
FlightTravels If Malaysian or Singapore Airlines do served meals on board on a KL to Singapore flt, both aircraft will land with trays as all the people will be eating. It takes lots of time to serve everyone on board a full aircraft especially when the food is free. Who want to skip a free meal? As for Air Asia, you pay for the food and I won't pay for their food as it's definitely more expensive then the food served on ground in the airport. KFC or McDonald's would be a much better and cheaper option then buying their meals on board. I do wonder how many people actually buy their meals on board this flight?
aallpp55 Actually Malaysian or Singapore or even other full service airlines served meals or light snacks depending on the route because that's part of their service as you already paid for it.. Whereas for low cost carriers, you only pay for the ticket only excluding the inflight service which you can buy upon request.. Yes i do agree that it's expensive but that is your choice.. For me I do Buy On Board before especially if I'm hungry and thirsty. For short flights it depends..
