The overall feeling of an experience with one airline has so many components. One of the biggest is how the cabin crew treat their customers. Singapore has always shown its genuine care for passengers, never failed.
One thing I appreciated about SIA flights, is the CA will sometime walk quietly around the cabin during red eye flight when the lights are dimmed, while holding tray of water, offering to passengers who are still staying up or have just woke up. It is really attentive of them, especially in such dimmed condition.
I have always flown Singapore Airlines for my travel to the Far East. They are an impressive airline. My wife flew this airline for the first time in 2016 on our way to Singapore and she was so impressed with their service that she couldn’t stop bragging about it. Our recent trip to Hong Kong was just as impressive.
Great video. I have flown with SQ numerous times in the last eight months and I have to say there were a few sectors where the inflight service was less than stellar and there was an air of indifference amongst the crew. An airline is only as good as its crew for the day.

Over sea, if you land a job with any airline it's consider privilege so people works hard to keep their job to support themselves of their family. In the USA, it is consider a right to work and also protected by union so crappie service or do the bare minimum. Some attendant do love what they do and pretty friendly too but mostly crappie.

I flew with Singapore in November 2019 in economy, from London Heathrow to Manila via Changi. Super service on all four flights as was the food, i can see why they always top the customer satisfaction league.....

Love the flight, meals , friendly cabin crew and everything. I have travelled many times with Singapore airlines from Sri Lanka to Australia. ( transit flight) l enjoyed it a lot. Wish to go again in future.
That's how airline service used to be years ago. Pan Am and Continental were like this. The captain's even handed out "wings" to the children on departure. So glad to see this high level of service is still alive and well in the airline world. The western airlines really need to pay attention to this type of service !

Yes, Singaporeans are very proud of their country, and rightly so! Best airport in the world, best airline in the world, best passport in the world, best students in the world and last but not least, one of the cleanest cities in the world. By the way I am NOT Singaporean.
I believe the crew is very well trained both in safety and service. Not intended as a punt but also the passenger seem to be trained, meaning that Singaporean civil education made the whole flight smooth and nice. Kudos to the crew , passengers, and thanks for report.
I have traveled with Singapore Airlines around 6 times in last 15 years, the consistency in service in all those years is amazing. One of the best Cabin crew experience I have come across.

I'm a huge fan of Singapore Airlines. I've used this airline since 2000 for most of my international flights. I was a student back then, traveling many different kinds of airlines at budget and remember being so amazed at SA's quality service in the economy class. Ever since I tried it, I couldn't fly on any other airlines. Felt like I was being cheated for my money. SA's business class is like all other airlines' first class. I tried recently American Airline's business class, and it wasn't nothing more than Singapore Airline's premium economy class.
Great video. In my experience, while the seats, entertainment systems and food may sometimes be better in the Middle Eastern carriers, the cabin crew of SQ are miles ahead of anyone else.

Wow, great TR as always. No matter what anyone says, Singapore Airlines ALWAYS has the best service from everyone around. My father recently flew the 359 in September and came back in October to Singapore and to India (772, and A380), and food is of superb quality and same with service. I had a friend who flew on SWD at one point that did not have Wifi, but I guess it does have the OnAir wifi now. Even SQ2/1 have PEY as they seem to retrofit almost all their 77W to contain PEY now. On the video, towards the end someone is definitely anxious to get out of their seat, and my dad can sometimes relate but not in a way that the crew will continue to tell him. That said, great video and keep up with the amazing travels.

We travelled from Mumbai to Bali via Singapore airline in Dec 18.2019 . We r seniors a they gave very good services from wheel chair to Aircraft and we were the first board with the aircraft on and the y put stickers our chest marked as wheel chair . The mealwas amazing veg meals tasty one . The FA were very polite and took care of us kudos to SIG . We r regular traveller to USA for the last 12 yrs no other European r Middle East carrier can match with SIG airlines . Long live Singapore airlines . Services Unfortunately no flight from DFW To Mumbai . Singapore airlines was our first flight I was longing to fly this airlines and dream came true as we had planned to trip to Bali Indonesia in the east .
The flight Singapore airline is very good. The staff is so polite and friendly. I also like the dessert very much. The ice cream is magnum almond I like it very much. The landing is also nice
Such a superb airline..( that other carriers use as a benchmark..).. be it service and catering on board..or the entire aircraft itself.. really well maintained...mostly very young fleet..and really clean ..down to the last details..wow.. hat's off SQ..( having flown them several times in both business and economy class..speak from personal experience..) thanks for sharing..!!!

I had travelled in the erstwhile Malasia Singapore Airlines (MSA) from Madras to Singapore way back in 1969. Was awed by the impeccable service & efficiency.
Tell me about it. These SQ Singapore Girls are worked a lot harder than our US "girls" to the point of being abused, and they're let go after eight years of service. Our girls get lifetime job security, union protection, great job benefits, and have the privilege of being allowed to grow old in their jobs, and die. Yet, most can't be bothered getting cleaned up and professional looking for work, and once at work, they'll do the bare minimum. It's sad, really.
Put it this way, I don't think any US based flight attendants would look very kindly on these videos. It would make them feel bad, and look bad in comparison.
Someone seems so eager to leave the plane @16:35 😂 All in all, thanks for sharing your experience! Can't wait to fly with Singapore Airlines this month! Hopefully the in-flight service would be great even on a red-eyed flight! :)

Excellent video Gavin. The plane and the services are very awesome. Suppose to be 5-stars. The F/A bring a smiled on you. The foods and the dessert look very delicious. Singapore Sling looks yummy. I wanted to fly SQ to SIN from BKK last year but I decided to fly on CX A350, and I upgraded to business class. So, I haven’t fly on SQ since 2007 and my flight is going to MNL from SIN next month either SQ or PAL. Next month I am flying to SIN from SEA via TPE on EVA.

FlightTravels Your welcome. I upgraded to business class from SEA to TPE b/c of cool amenity kit. Short flight don’t hand out amenity kit like I did on CX from BKK to SIN without amenity kit.
And the regular and thoughtful heads up info about turbulence ahead is very comforting and makes me feel i am the pilot more than being a passenger :-)
Singapore Airlines and Asiana, in my opinion, have the best flight attendants in the industry. They’re always efficient, friendly, and polite. That’s why if I can help it, I will only fly with these two airlines whenever I travel.
Great PR video for Singapore Airlines. I'm flying SFOHKG in March and easily chose to fly Singapore Airlines over UAL. I have flown UALHKG on numerous occasions, and can say that UAL service has definitely declined over the years. For now on, its Singapore Airlines for me!

I must say the Singapore Airlines is one of my favourite airlines to fly on within Asia and Europe. Hot towels, menu card in economy class and the IFE system on board. And the best part is the meal service on Singapore Airlines is so much better than the asian carriers such as Air India.

SQ operates like a Well Oiled machine. I recently went to HKG on Cathay Pacific and the onboard service was like an uncoordinated mess. The Flight Attendants looked like they were all having a bad day(I guess it was too difficult to smile?). I will stick with SQ next time(it is worth paying more for SQ).
Mike Parker Cathay Pacific is no longer my favourite airlines. The cabin service is barely acceptable （ compare with Canadian or American competitors. Unfortunately Singapore Airline has stopped serving Vancouver and now I like Korean Air or Eva Air when going to Asia.
I like the way you have put it - a well-oiled machine. Really fitted scenario of my flight SQ866. CX in my opinion isn't bad but not outstanding - pretty much a mundane flying experience that gets you to your destination. I hate to bag on Cathy but Cathy Dragon(low cost version) was even worse. I asked one question during meal service: "Is their drink service(I did not get a drink)"? I got a stare down, a smirk and this classic reply from the rude young lady: "Well, if you want a drink then fine". i politely declined and drank my own bottled water.
My experience was the only difference between Cathay Dragon and Air Asia was I did not have to pay for the lousy meal I received from Cathy Dragon. Everything else was pretty much about the same except the Flight Attendants on Air Asia were very beautiful. The Dragon attendants not so much.

My favourite airline. Have been using them to fly to S E Asia for 20 years and still enjoy their flights.
I flew on SQ last year to Shanghai and the services and meals were PHENOMENAL LOVE ❤️ SQ 😍

Great video. In my experience, while the seats, entertainment systems and food may sometimes be better in the Middle Eastern carriers, the cabin crew of SQ are miles ahead of anyone else.

Wow, great TR as always. No matter what anyone says, Singapore Airlines ALWAYS has the best service from everyone around. My father recently flew the 359 in September and came back in October to Singapore and to India (772, and A380), and food is of superb quality and same with service. I had a friend who flew on SWD at one point that did not have Wifi, but I guess it does have the OnAir wifi now. Even SQ2/1 have PEY as they seem to retrofit almost all their 77W to contain PEY now. On the video, towards the end someone is definitely anxious to get out of their seat, and my dad can sometimes relate but not in a way that the crew will continue to tell him. That said, great video and keep up with the amazing travels.

We travelled from Mumbai to Bali via Singapore airline in Dec 18.2019 . We r seniors a they gave very good services from wheel chair to Aircraft and we were the first board with the aircraft on and the y put stickers our chest marked as wheel chair . The mealwas amazing veg meals tasty one . The FA were very polite and took care of us kudos to SIG . We r regular traveller to USA for the last 12 yrs no other European r Middle East carrier can match with SIG airlines . Long live Singapore airlines . Services Unfortunately no flight from DFW To Mumbai . Singapore airlines was our first flight I was longing to fly this airlines and dream came true as we had planned to trip to Bali Indonesia in the east .
The flight Singapore airline is very good. The staff is so polite and friendly. I also like the dessert very much. The ice cream is magnum almond I like it very much. The landing is also nice
Yes This Singapore Airlines crew members ,all Flight Officers , and Air Hostess are very very co operative and helpful 👍👍👌👌🇮🇳

Such a superb airline..( that other carriers use as a benchmark..).. be it service and catering on board..or the entire aircraft itself.. really well maintained...mostly very young fleet..and really clean ..down to the last details..wow.. hat's off SQ..( having flown them several times in both business and economy class..speak from personal experience..) thanks for sharing..!!!

think that one of the secrets of the success of Singapore Airlines is their excellent treatment and high quality service of the economy passengers no doubt, it is the best airline in the world
Flew SQ in February from LAX to SIN. Lucky enough to get Business. We still talk about the great service on our flights.

Always smiling, serving with grace and sincerity, attending to all customer’s requests attentively, and so on. I miss flying Singapore Airlines now! I flew CX few weeks back and It was none close to SQ’s standard seriously.

Tell me about it. These SQ Singapore Girls are worked a lot harder than our US "girls" to the point of being abused, and they're let go after eight years of service. Our girls get lifetime job security, union protection, great job benefits, and have the privilege of being allowed to grow old in their jobs, and die. Yet, most can't be bothered getting cleaned up and professional looking for work, and once at work, they'll do the bare minimum. It's sad, really.
Put it this way, I don't think any US based flight attendants would look very kindly on these videos. It would make them feel bad, and look bad in comparison.

Excellent video Gavin. The plane and the services are very awesome. Suppose to be 5-stars. The F/A bring a smiled on you. The foods and the dessert look very delicious. Singapore Sling looks yummy. I wanted to fly SQ to SIN from BKK last year but I decided to fly on CX A350, and I upgraded to business class. So, I haven’t fly on SQ since 2007 and my flight is going to MNL from SIN next month either SQ or PAL. Next month I am flying to SIN from SEA via TPE on EVA.

FlightTravels Your welcome. I upgraded to business class from SEA to TPE b/c of cool amenity kit. Short flight don’t hand out amenity kit like I did on CX from BKK to SIN without amenity kit.
And the regular and thoughtful heads up info about turbulence ahead is very comforting and makes me feel i am the pilot more than being a passenger :-)

Singapore Airlines and Asiana, in my opinion, have the best flight attendants in the industry. They’re always efficient, friendly, and polite. That’s why if I can help it, I will only fly with these two airlines whenever I travel.
Great PR video for Singapore Airlines. I'm flying SFOHKG in March and easily chose to fly Singapore Airlines over UAL. I have flown UALHKG on numerous occasions, and can say that UAL service has definitely declined over the years. For now on, its Singapore Airlines for me!

I must say the Singapore Airlines is one of my favourite airlines to fly on within Asia and Europe. Hot towels, menu card in economy class and the IFE system on board. And the best part is the meal service on Singapore Airlines is so much better than the asian carriers such as Air India.

I got Singapore to Hong Kong there in Dec 1 I got back in Dec 9.2018

SQ operates like a Well Oiled machine. I recently went to HKG on Cathay Pacific and the onboard service was like an uncoordinated mess. The Flight Attendants looked like they were all having a bad day(I guess it was too difficult to smile?). I will stick with SQ next time(it is worth paying more for SQ).
Mike Parker Cathay Pacific is no longer my favourite airlines. The cabin service is barely acceptable （ compare with Canadian or American competitors. Unfortunately Singapore Airline has stopped serving Vancouver and now I like Korean Air or Eva Air when going to Asia.
I like the way you have put it - a well-oiled machine. Really fitted scenario of my flight SQ866. CX in my opinion isn't bad but not outstanding - pretty much a mundane flying experience that gets you to your destination. I hate to bag on Cathy but Cathy Dragon(low cost version) was even worse. I asked one question during meal service: "Is their drink service(I did not get a drink)"? I got a stare down, a smirk and this classic reply from the rude young lady: "Well, if you want a drink then fine". i politely declined and drank my own bottled water.
My experience was the only difference between Cathay Dragon and Air Asia was I did not have to pay for the lousy meal I received from Cathy Dragon. Everything else was pretty much about the same except the Flight Attendants on Air Asia were very beautiful. The Dragon attendants not so much.
