- AirAsia flight experience, onboard the Airbus A320neo aircraft, from Singapore (SIN) to Kuala Lumpur (KUL).
The Airbus A320neo is a fuel-efficient aircraft, which features sharklets on its wings. AirAsia's A320neo is configured with 186 seats. Total flight time on this sector is 49 minutes, in which pre-ordered meals are served, followed by a buy-on-board snack and drink service. There are scenic views of Singapore and Malaysia enroute.

Oh Nasi Lemak, I ate my fair amount of that over Malaysia. I really enjoyed all my short hops around Asia with Air Asia, sometimes it was cheaper than buying a bus ticket and came in handy for tricky routes and time saving. However I took the bus between Singapore & Kuala Lumpur.

Airasia using A320neo that come with CFM LEAP-1A engine. The engine maker is completing with Pratt & Whitney PW1000 GTF engine on another A320neo model. Currently, ANA in Japan and China Southern Airlines in mainland China are using GTF engine on their A320neo fleets.

Nice trip. I did the same a couple of years ago, except I went by train 8 hours and not nearly as comfortable as yours. You go the best deal.

Lucky, I just flew airasia last night from SG to KL AK718. But sadly the plane was flying as AK718 is 9M-AQF I think. Old plane 5 years old

Nice! During takeoff, those engines sounds a bit more powerful for a small aircraft lol Cabin does not look any different for a NEO lol Well at least it still has the air vents in the PSU. That's interesting how they serve you a meal right just before landing.
Always enjoy your video. Hope to fly some of the LC Asian airlines one day (Air Asia, Scoot, Lion Air, etc). I believe that Asian airlines are in a "golden era" similar to U.S. airlines in the 1980's prior to consolidation. Lots of choices, etc. What is that construction that seems to be happening to the East of your takeoff rwy? Are they building another rwy?

They should play music throughout the whole flight so that people who are scared are less scared.

darsh shah Yes, 2 days ago I flew from SG to KL. The expected flight time was 1 hour 10 minutes too but the actual flight time was like 30 minutes

Hello, I didn't know which aircraft would be operating until I saw it parked at my gate. However, you can refer to the seatmap of your chosen flight (when choosing your seats) if Row 31 or 32 is the last row (the A320neo has up to row 32). Hope it helps you! Have a great flight - FlightTravels

Can somebody explain what's the different between the A320 and the A320neo??
Ridhuan Halim NEO means New Engine Option which means A320Neo has a brand new Engine. In other hand, A320 is just a normal engine...I think the engine is Rolls Royce...sorry if I'm wrong.
