  • Many vintage cards were glued into scrapbooks. Fortunately, I have found that most of the glue from the 30s 40s and 50s can be broken down with card spray.
Super fun project, I encourage you to look for a scrapbook card and practice this 🤙🏼

Great! Someone glued that card into an album not realizing that 85 years later you would restore its’ beauty!

This was great. I create custom cards using photo paper and always get adhesive over spray... I use Kurts card care to safely remove this over spray from the photo paper. 100% recommended for cleaning photos also.

Just ordered your product. Could you possibly do a tutorial on removing dimples?

With paper cards you might be able to make some progress. On plastic/modern cards those can be permanent most of the time. If you’re on Instagram, you can always show me a picture.

Hi Kurt, thanks for the awesome videos. I've got a 1967 Topps with paper glued on the back just like this. Your video is in fast forward mode, how long was the card actually soaking while you were slowly pealing up the paper, thank you.

Great question Kyle, I let the card soak for approximately 10 minutes before I start trying to remove the paper and glue

Very nice! Have you removed the dreaded gum stains?

    Gum stains!!
Hi. I'm a new Kurt's kit customer. Looking forward to using your products for various cards.
I have a bunch of 1969 Topps baseball Deckle edge cards that have (among other issues) gum stains. My question is, should I treat these Deckle cards any differently when using your various products to improve their appearance? Are they any more delicate than a regular card from that era? I can send you a Pic of one of them if that helps.
    Thanks.

Thank you for your prompt reply.
Yes, in that video you sent, it's similar for the gum stains.
But re: the 1969 Deckle Edge cards, I was ALSO asking if you thought they would respond to your spray and polish any differently than other cards. Not asking for a guarantee. Merely, if you had any knowledge or experience with these Deckle edge cards.
Again, I do appreciate your efforts to help us with our cards and your helpful videos.
      Thanks, SK

@@Spinachi88 sorry I missed that. I have never worked on a Deckel edge card before. I had to look it up. I’m sure they’re easy to work on you would just have to figure it out. I assume they have a paper finish on the back versus glossy. I’m just not sure about the front. If you have a base card, you can use that as your test card.
