Man ford should be payin this guy the big bucks! He’s literally making their products better and fixing their mistakes! I bet ford watches all these videos lol
These videos are priceless bro. I have a build fiesta st engine here in australia i want to take to 450wheel hp and your info is really helpful. Im interested to see what in tank pump you use and how you fix the cylinder 1 knock caused by the engine mount
It needs the .92 AR bro! I’ve ran a g25-550 with the .73 and the .92 AR and on my mini and it picked up 38WHP with the .92 and the spool time was only 200rpm later! I changed to the 660 soon after though and it makes these numbers so much easier at a much lower turbo wheel speed as well! It might be something for your build if you wanna ramp up past 500whp!
@@AdamBrunson hopefully they listen! They’ll seriously see the top end gains for sure and the spool difference is barely noticeable once the car is moving in gear! I wish I’d gone with the 660 from the start and saved the money honestly 🙃💪🏼
@@haydnpaull5447 if memory serves me right we made around 440whp on the large housing with the g25-550, currently @ 533wheel with the 660 on a .72 housing, tried the 660 with the .92 but it was abit laggy for my set up so went back to the .72 and made good power with reasonable spool
Thanks for doing all this for the community Adam. I’m tuned by stratified but no disrespect to you your builds fuck for sure! I want to go s280 but I don’t want to run a vac op bpv to keep the EM bpv functional during ffs, it seems like you’re losing a lot of performance if ffs doesn’t function like it should in a turbo car by running a vac op bpv. Have to keep that thing spooled down the track.
@3:06 that guy qualifies as "douche canoe" lulz Forgive my ignorance but why do meth with race additive to get 103 octane when you can just go to Rosie's for some E85 that will put ya in the same octane range....?
Don’t know if you or anyone can help me here but if I run a full gtx2867r external gated turbo kit on my car will the g25-550 be a straight swap for the 2867?as in I won’t need to change the manifold and down pipe etc
It wasnt making any power cuz you exhaust wrapped the intake wtf lmaooo havent you heard of thermal tape? It allows heat to escape while not allowing radiant heat to enter. Vs with that exhaust wrap youre just super heating the intake piping lmao
Customer did it, not I. Also thermal tape does absolutely nothing. Airspeed makes anything you put on the intake irrelevant, just like this exhaust wrap. Thermal tape is for protecting from heat, if it could potentially be damaged.
@@AdamBrunson it definitely does something, air speed doesnt matter when aluminum is susceptible to heat transfer at least with tape it can still be cooled off, with heat wrap, all that heat is being trapped in
@@ericklagos1431 Airspeed does matter. Do not know how thermal transfer works? Maybe you should do some research on intercoolers, and how they work. Airspeed is a huge factor.
@@AdamBrunson lmaoooo i like how you bring intercoolers up yet fail to understand how exhaust wrap traps heat in. You're the one that needs to be doing research. Just cause its blowing by at an alarming rate does meat theres 0 heat transfer 🤣 you a clown mate.
@@AdamBrunson on top of that youre contradicting yourself, saying that tape wont help cause the charged air is to fast, then bring up intercoolers and say that its all about air speed lmaooo.
Adam, I love your cable management in the car. I knew the CD player was good for something.
Good stuff! Can't wait to go s280 on my fiesta, these videos are very informative keep it up

Getting a sub from me just for building this beautiful beast!

Be good to compare the Garret and the x58evo2 and see the difference in power
Good video. Keep it up. Surprised the customer had you use so many used parts.....
Good job! What is the turbine's houseing? A/R = 0.49, 0.72 or 0.92?
Looking at the previous video of this build at 1:21 you can see the housing is a 0.72.
Gonna be a beast
one question, im considering the 0.49 for my fiesta st MK8, will the 49 potentially have even faster spool than your setup?
Looking at the previous video of this build at 1:21 you can see the housing is a 0.72.
HI MAN, I WANT TO PUT A G25 550 IN MY THP 1.6, WOULD YOU RECOMEND AR .49 OR MORE:, what are you using in this video: there is no lag... thanks
Wanna tune my 14 1.6 fusion with x58evo lol. Im right in Fridley
Hi, just wondering what’s the turbine housing A/R? Appreciate your reply man.

I’m going to suggest to the customer to switch to .92 and 660. That’s what I would have preferred from the start.

what did this cost? like $15k?
You mentioned a details on what rmm to run on rs, would you recommend 65A or 75A bushing for the cpe?
75A, on our site. 👍🏻

What are the chances a 1.5 or 1.6 would bolt up to an ecoboost mustang 6 speed?
It won’t, and not sure why you would ever do that?
