Does the handbrake work with g920 wheel?
Made one from a metal brom handle and a old controler. The short end pushed down on the analog down for the right tumb stick. It worked better then expected. Used it a lot for the years i had it before i sold the home made metal rigg.
Question: does this work for PlayStation 4 as this isn’t the + version and on the website (link in description) it takes you to one that’s just pc compatible

Picked up the Sparco R383 Mod add-on rim before Christmas. I currently have the T300 + TH8A shifter & T3PA pedals. Will hopefully pick up the sparco handbrake this year at some stage. Heard lot's of very positive feedback about it, including from your video 😁👍

Hi there brilliant review I take it this connects straight to the thrustmaster wheel base? If so do you get a double connector so you can use the thrustmaster shifter at the same time as my concern is if this is connected how does the shifter plug in aswell?

I have a question - I have a T500 and have an injury preventing me from using my pedals - Could I use this as a hand throttle/brake if I reconfigured the buttons in game?

I am looking at getting the mount for the shifter/handbrake for the ps4. How wide can the clamp open for the mount? Since I will be mounting it to a wooden cockpit made out of 2x4 and 2x8.

You can't really change between the shifter and ebrake while in game though can you? I'm just really wishing I could use this for sequential shifting and have a second lever for the ebrake. I need both while in the game!
Just buy the handbrake and the shifter. The shifter has a sequential mode.

I just bought a set of t150 pro steering wheel kit and tss handbrake sparco mod. I was setting the tss as handbrake, but it doesnt seem to function with my t150 pro. I was testing it with nfs payback and wrc 10 but it doesnt seem to function. Btw i was using ps4 for this setup.
Can you help me figure it out ?

Yea once i've had a few sessions on Dirt Rally i will be moving it to a shifter.

In real rally cars the hand brake is straight up beside the wheel to make it fast yo use.
Yea up to the wheel may be better, i will be using it with Forza Horizon too, as a conventional hand brake, so the current position is a happy medium!
@@GametechUK you right you are not using it only for rally but test it sometimes and tell us how's that feels
Important to note that if you want to use this on some titles on console and xbox as I believe xbox does not support usb gearstick input it needs to be plugged directly into wheel base which is the sparco tss + (plus) which comes with the small din plug

To connect the hand brake my g29 wheel and my external hard drive to my Ps4 i wound need extra usb sockets will they work with a usb splitter?
Yea the PS4 is fine with a hub, i think a powered hub would be better, msybe check that for yourself. The handbreak is only USB2 so wont need much power, but the hard drive might.

Have you gotten the handbrake to work on the PS4 yet? I've gotten the brake but haven't really had much of an opportunity to test it with Dirt Rally PS4.

Lol outside the chippie sounds a perfect place to try it out. Fully compatible with PC/PS4/Xbox.

Just plug it in via USB and assign it in game. Make sure you have updated the firmware first.

I havnt checked that combo as i have a Thrustmaster wheel, but this has its own USB, so i'm.sure it would. But i would check with Thrustmaster support first.

Well this is a standalone USB unit, so yes, it should work fine alongside other brands of wheel.

it is. It literally says that on Thrustmaster website "Compatible on PC (Windows® 10, 8, 7) with all racing wheels on the market." It comes with a USB adapter so you can plug it in directly to PC.

I think it only plugs into thrustmaster wheel bases and wheels.

U need to buy a drive hub, allowing you to connect various makes and models of equipment.

I have a gt ultimate motion platform cockpit, with a g920, thrustmaster handbrake and shifter t3pa pro pedals all connected to a drive hub, connected to my ps5 and Xbox series s..
It all works straight out of the box

Yes, on PC the game sees the wheel and handbrake as seperate devices in the control menu. I haven't checked that combo on PS4 though.

Ps4 wheels are just plug in and play to be honest mate

You drive on the left hand side so your cars are RHD so why would you have it set up on the right side of your rig instead of the correct side being the left.

A simple push forwards or backwards to select gears. Rather than positioning the stick in different positions, like a real car.

Yes, you can just plug it straight into USB and assign it to handbrake.
