Install Thrustmaster Handbrake & Shifter on Playseat Challenge

- Hey guys,
Some of the guys here asked me about the playseat challenge so I did a quick video about what I have mounted on it.
Hope it helps somebody in deciding before buying ;)
Mounted:
Thrustmaster TS - PC wheel with 599xx Rim
Thrustmater Th8a shifter
Thrustmaster TSS Sparco Handbrake
Fanatec V3 Pedals
Also using
Acer Predator Helios 300 ( GTX1060 + i7 + 16 GB of RAM )
Acer Windows Mixed Reality headset

Good idea with handbrake mount. Is stable when using handbrake ? Moving a lot ?

Hello, are your pedals the fanatec clubsport v3’s? I’m interested if you just used the Velcro strap to “mount” them onto the playseat challenge pedal section.
hey buddy.. yep those are V3s with brake performance kit isntalled. I was not using the velcro strap later on... the pedals were fixed by using zip ties ( the same you use for cable management )... this was absolutely sturdy
Hello how is the handbrake attached to the L plate ? I am thinking of using a Gearshifter mount for the TH8A and the handbrake (when i get a handbrake)
hi buddy.. I just drilled one additional hole to fit mounting pattern of the handbrake ;) ( it was mounted by two screws only )

But i just need the mount for placing the shifter,

Hi, how long do you have the Playseat? Any issues so far? I am thinking of getting it and the Thrustmaster TS XW. Isn't it too wobly with such a strong wheel? Thank you for your answer.
Nazdar.. pouzival som ju vyse roka ( aktualne som kupil doma cize uz som na next level FGT ). Za celu tu dobu som bol maximalne spokojny.. jazdil som kvoli nedostatku casu vacsinou iba raz do tyzdnam cize so msa to snazil vyuzit a sedel so v tom aj 4 hodiny v kuse. Netlacil neomina, je to pohodlne. Mal som tam TS-PC na takmer maximalnom FFB, casto jazdim rally kde volant dava pecky v kuse. Sedadlo znesie, dokonca tym ze je to trubkova konstrukcia tak sa paradne celou sedackou nesu vibracie z volantu na zvysok tela.
i have this sim racing chair and the ts xw on it its not wobly works perfectly fine the only issue with this chair is no mounts and the base that u put the pedal on is annoying as fk when u put them away, as the steering wheel has some weight to it and trying to collapse a 3 part chair can be irritating but it dose square away neatly away in a corner and is very comfortable,
im having troubles to get the th8a shifter and the tss handbrake to work together on pc. only one or the other works
you might try to install drivers for both again.. must work together with no problems
