I’m seventy, I’m old school, have worked on two strokes for over fifty years. Everything from go karts to snow mobiles, dirt bikes, etc. your work area, tools and knowledge are as good as it gets. It was a joy to watch a young man with a great skill set. I don’t much care about video editing and that kind of tech but I have to admit I was very well done.

Cameron Niemela..... Ever since I found you and your videos on you tube and then learned about your health, I have been thinking...... I would hate to lose you being the great attitude you have and how I have learned so much about dirt bike repair from you. Your knowledge and skill as a mechanic is second to none.
I love watching learn/teach videos and I have found your technique easy to follow but yet straight to the point.
Once again, Cameron hang in there we are all pulling for you !! I wish I could help but I know it's out of my hands. I will pray for you tonight .

The most amazing talent that cancer has sought out! I hate to hear that your not feeling well. I came across this most well thought out and precision assembly. Hats off big man hope you get the dreams lived that you want.
Never stop doing what pleases man. Great and best assembly video I have seen in a while. I love how you didn't stop by cleaning up the inside. You even coated specific parts and cleaned up the entire outside.

Cameron, I'm more than twice your age (60), but you're a true inspiration bro. Your attention to detail on this engine build is exceptional. I've got two Bultaco Sherpas that need a full rebuild. One is really nasty. Also got a 1983 USA spec VF750F Interceptor that needs a full ground up restoration. Then there are the concept bikes I'm planning...! Just when I feel daunted by the enormity of m these tasks, one of your vids spurs me on. Thank you. Believe me, I don't offer praise or thanks very often. Too old to be a fanboy!!:)
Only just discovered that you're not well. Am really sorry to hear that. I hope you're using cannabinol and all the other healthy stuff Mother Nature gave us. Cannabis, Cannabinol kills cancer cells, but if you're going down the allopathic medicine route (chemo etc) then it also helps your immune system fight the negative effects of modern solutions. I'm not an expert. I've just studied this a bit. Hope you have too. Get fully well again real soon buddy.
All the best from the UK.

What a great engine and video. Thank you for sharing. Hey, in case it helps you or anyone, when the crankshaft end drops into the bearing bore a bit too easy like that, then you can use some Loctite shaft retaining compound to reduce chances of any free-play developing. I learned the hard way.

As an engineer myself it's always a treat to see someone do a really decent job on a rebuild, looks great and I imagine it'll go pretty well too. Have you put any coating on the bare aluminium ?. Good job..
