I’m seventy, I’m old school, have worked on two strokes for over fifty years. Everything from go karts to snow mobiles, dirt bikes, etc. your work area, tools and knowledge are as good as it gets. It was a joy to watch a young man with a great skill set. I don’t much care about video editing and that kind of tech but I have to admit I was very well done.
Cameron Niemela..... Ever since I found you and your videos on you tube and then learned about your health, I have been thinking...... I would hate to lose you being the great attitude you have and how I have learned so much about dirt bike repair from you. Your knowledge and skill as a mechanic is second to none. I love watching learn/teach videos and I have found your technique easy to follow but yet straight to the point. Once again, Cameron hang in there we are all pulling for you !! I wish I could help but I know it's out of my hands. I will pray for you tonight . God says " If two or more pray I will be in the mist of you" God bless you !
Cameron, I'm more than twice your age (60), but you're a true inspiration bro. Your attention to detail on this engine build is exceptional. I've got two Bultaco Sherpas that need a full rebuild. One is really nasty. Also got a 1983 USA spec VF750F Interceptor that needs a full ground up restoration. Then there are the concept bikes I'm planning...! Just when I feel daunted by the enormity of m these tasks, one of your vids spurs me on. Thank you. Believe me, I don't offer praise or thanks very often. Too old to be a fanboy!!:) Only just discovered that you're not well. Am really sorry to hear that. I hope you're using cannabinol and all the other healthy stuff Mother Nature gave us. Cannabis, Cannabinol kills cancer cells, but if you're going down the allopathic medicine route (chemo etc) then it also helps your immune system fight the negative effects of modern solutions. I'm not an expert. I've just studied this a bit. Hope you have too. Get fully well again real soon buddy. All the best from the UK.
The most amazing talent that cancer has sought out! I hate to hear that your not feeling well. I came across this most well thought out and precision assembly. Hats off big man hope you get the dreams lived that you want. Never stop doing what pleases man. Great and best assembly video I have seen in a while. I love how you didn't stop by cleaning up the inside. You even coated specific parts and cleaned up the entire outside.
For the first time in my life I see a relation between an engine and Human, I felt if I was watching a surgical operation beautifully gracefully done 100%.
As an Auto-Mechanic of 30 years, who has watched, and disassembled some shade tree crap in my time... I am truly impressed. It was a dream, a good dream, of watching an engine go together. Subbed, and liked... Dude, you are the shite. I can't wait to see this engine run, run, run, and run some more. It is as good, or better than new. I cant even say how rare this is to see...
thank you for taking the time to film, rebuild, video, edit, upload this, thoroughly enjoyed all aspects. would buy again, fast shipper A+++ good communication.
I sold my 4 stroke awhile back and am now looking for a 2 stroke that I can put some time into and make nice. Your videos have given me the confidence to start tearing apart engines and customize them on my own!
I just happened up on this video and it's great. I rode two strokes back in the day but to answer your question, I think some people just get on here to down grade other people. They are like water. They will just fade away down stream if you pay them no attention. I call them Idiots.
Jason Dinault it does normally look a lot easier on UA-cam than in real life. You are right. I’m an auto mechanic and believe me, they rarely show the aggravating parts.
Got to take my hat off to ya Cameron that was a great pleasure to watch the total transformation of the engine and you have a great eye for detail mate. Wishing you good luck in your recovery much Love from the UK ;)
Beautiful job! That engine looked like it was under water or something when you started. Sorry to hear about your illness, I'm sure you'll recover. We need guys like you.

Swingarm bolt.
