Good try there! Have you thought about ordering a set of new front wings ( sorry fenders lol ) from SRS Tech in Germany? These are specifically designed to accommodate a wider stance, and look OEM quality when fitted!! Ps, definitely get some road trip content out and also looking forward to seeing more mods for the R32 👍
Ya I have thought of them but I really want metal front fenders that’s my main issue. When I repaint the car I’d probably get a shop to make wider fenders. I just like metal with being on air
I have a 2008 R32 and I've been thinking about an air lift system while keeping the OEM wheels, so I won't need to go extra wide on rolling the fenders to fit a larger offset on the wheels than standard, I would just need to clear the lowering from the air lift. It's good to know about not having to roll the rear fenders as you state in the video. Having to roll the rear fenders was my *main* concern, and one of the reasons I would not go ahead with an air lift system. If I were to roll the front fenders for my '08 R32, I might look into getting some aftermarket ones and keep the OEM fenders in storage (I'm one of those owners who wants to modify but as little as I have to on OEM equipment), then roll the aftermarket ones for fitment and send them off for paint afterward. Not sure if you're familiar with the 2008 models as opposed to the 2004 ones, but do you know if you also don't have to roll the rear fenders on those?
I’m not 100% sure if the rear are the same in terms of rolling the rear fenders. You should be fine overall but just check the rear and see if you have a lip on the fender or if it flush.
@@ThreePedalGarage I am working on my second set of Porsche Macan S 8x19 & 8x19 ET21 to try and pull of an 8x19 square set on my 2013 vr6 4motion CC. Wish me luck. If you ever need any customization on tech let me know. It’s a hobby of mine. Android install, custom wireless charger and phone docking station. Wait on parts to upgrade a buddy and my android unit with 360view and few other tricks.
