Just want to say that this show really gave me the confidence to speak up. There was a situation when a group of 6 girls and one boy bullied a girl directly infront of me and like my first thought was : where are the cameras and this show came immediately in my mind. And i took all if my courage and spoke up. They were just laughing at me but the fact that the girl who got bullied said thank u to me was like the only thing that mattered. I wish i could’ve done more but you know it was the first time i defended someone even tho i am really anxious and shy person with lack of confidence... sad thing : This was real life. No tv show when they clear everything up after. But no matter what : Please always speak up. Do the right thing.
She just meant that they know all the business owners in the area and if he had a studio around the corner she would have known him. They said all of that during the discussion.
I’ve personally had this happen to me. A woman approached me in a mall and gave me a sketchy looking business card and was acting very awkward and tried recruiting me for a gig just like in this video. It could’ve been legit, but I declined and later discovered that this is a fairly common way that sex traffickers pick up victims especially in places like Houston.
So scary! And, good for you for trusting your gut and not being lured in. That was my instance response...a method for luring young girls into sex trafficking. It happens much more often than people realize.
Sad thing is that it is more likely to be related to sex trafficking than it is to be what they are saying it just does not happen. a good thing you had some brains on you cus there are also many girls who get overwhelmed and just think thats awesome only drawing positive things in their minds.. when you have to go with them right away it says enough about their intentions since they dont want you to talk to other people about it first. if you did follow her and would than be taken to the people that handle girls like you ur pretty much done for aint getting out of that. Now ofcourse you dont have time to think in ur situation when tallking to her but did you not later feel like you should have tried to take a picture of her face and call the cops? it can be very likely that she would not be trying to get you out of her own free will but she being stuck in that exact same thing with men not far away keeping an eye on her cus it being a girl talking to you instead of a men makes you feel more comfortable and they know that. good you did not fall for it but better if you did call the cops to come quickly to see if that girl is alright and they would also follow her to see if her story is legit and you could have either saved her being in trouble or the other girls they have lured after talking to you and are NOW being trafficked.
Happened to me, too. 25 yrs ago. i wonder if trafficking was a thing then? i mean, i said yes, in a PUBLIC PLACE! Took some pix in a park & got the prints. (He was semi-legit.) But you can see where he started to get creepy, cos my smile disappeared.. i don't think trafficking was a thing.. If you watch the 1980 film "Fame", you see what gen-xers would REALLY battle: exploitation via manipulation. There was an episode of "Facts of Life" where Tootie was almost turned out as a streetwalker. i think the 80s & 90s were abt manipulative "choice", at least in the US.
@@dennis7494 You are absolutely right. Unfortunately, I did not realize until much later that this was possibly a form of trafficking, but I definitely would have called the cops if I had known better!
4:26 *rEsPoNsiBLe TeEnaGeRs* two words that are never put together in a sentence EDIT: I know teenagers can be responsible, we just have a reputation of being reckless. (Thx for the likes too :3)
White people typically look older than they are. Black people look younger. It basically comes down to genetics, but the melanin we're blessed with is a gift (as far as aging goes) and sadly a curse (because of a racist society).
That man made it obvious he was a predator 1.the way he said nicccccce 2.yeah after you get the gig 3.before walking out he looked behind him about 10 times I could go on and on
Did no one stop them? I haven’t seen the whole video yet I read comments as I go. Obviously the dude is sketchy and they just met him. I wouldn’t let any teen leave with a stranger, even if they got mad at me and said I wasn’t their parents cuz id rather possibly save them then see them on the news as missing it possibly dead.
If you ever see something like this...PLEASE step in or call the police. Someone like him, who wouldn't wait for the parents' consent, is nothing but trouble. He could be trying to lure them away for human sex trafficking. It is a very real thing, it happens all the time, and its prevalence is growing exponentially at a staggering rate. Young teenage girls are kidnapped and literally sold into prostitution and slavery every day. Sometimes they remain here in the U.S., but also many times are forced to travel overbroad.
You all NEED to be aware of predators out there. Listen people, i've met one before trying to lure my sister. This is a serious problem, at least in my opinion.
Music_is_Calming Yeah that’s true, especially with social media also numbing kids down and making them insensitive to the dangers of reality. If a random guy like this came up to some teen girls and said he was a Victoria Secret model representative, I have no doubt some would buy it. And then it all goes down hill from there. And I’m sure it’s happened many times before, too.
Sarah Randall Of course you don’t care. Because you’re stuck in your own narrow-minded world. But if you yourself, your own daughter, your sister, your niece, or another young loved one of yours gets lured by a predator and hurt, goes missing, or gets killed (God forbid), wouldn’t you care then? Of course you would, and you would want others to care too and help you through situation. So learn to look past your own nose, and say something good or don’t speak at all.
Watching What would you do is becoming a serious addiction..... Next episode on Dr Phil: my name is Charlotte and I am addicted to watching “what would you do”
I actually was ask to model for a company called "friendship lights" while at my favorite cafe. It was fun. But the guy gave me forms for me to sign and my parents sign because I was only 15. His card had a website, email address and his Facebook page. After the forms to sign I change into his company's merchandise and we took some photos in front of the street paintings a few blocks away from the cafe. Later when I saw the advertisements with my picture I was amazed. I absolutely loved it. So while it is possible to get randomly offered a modeling gig. I would advise people be careful if they don't give you any forms to fill out especially if you're underage that's a bad sign right there. Besides the modeling gig I got was just a one-time thing.
I'm sad so many of them just watched the girls leave... especially the ones who still felt something was wrong. If it feels wrong trust your dang gut!!!!
Same 😔 unfortunately many people are afraid to say something.... Notice they kept saying "well I can't stop them" but it's like well did you really try? The one who said "please don't go" - that was great, in my opinion that's a real attempt at stopping them at least. But the rest were disheartening... Imagine seeing them walk off with him and then seeing their pictures on the news... How would they feel then? Sigh.
Dottie: "There is no way you girls were going anywhere with me here" ......the whole time she did NOT stop them from leaving! 😂 It wasn't until Maggie took action that Dottie followed behind.
"my name is Brian and I work for a modeling agency" you can't trust anyone that only gives you their first name and not a specific name of who they work for 😂
I swear they start of young but look older then when they get older they stay looking young. Then when you find out they're 70 and don't look a day over 35 it hits you... The rich can afford to look the agree they want to look. It's called plastic and cosmetic surgery and a bunch of beauty products. Okay yeah that didn't have much to do with her looking 5 years older
@zilverster11 you're telling me you haven't heard about PewDiePie vs T Series for the past 4 months? It's literally the biggest thing on UA-cam right now. The main reason people hate rewind this year is because of PewDiePie not being in it l. Also he's gotten 5 million subscribers in less than a month.
How come it is always the moms who have daughters stepping in to protect the young girls? Why are other middle-aged men not taking charge of their own sins? This is truly angering and is the reason these incidents continue to go unnoticed. If men won’t listen to us women when we intervene, then it is THEIR job to stand up and make a change.
It is and it does happen such things, these episodes are entertaining but also good, it think these things like WWYD make people feel like yea if something like this happens I should do something

People spoke out but you can't really say what you would do in the situation until you're in it. Especially if you're a young woman yourself, it can be intimidating. Doesn't mean that they don't care.
I love the older woman with white hair! I'm not someone who abides by "staying in my place". I dont see things as something that's "not my place" to do, I couldn't really see myself reacting any other way than she did! That was awesome!!

This comment is pretty creepy

"She's President of the Chamber of Commerce" Weird flex but ok.

Unfortunately, I did not realize until much later that this was possibly a form of trafficking, but I definitely would have called the cops if I had known better!
this have happened to me multiple times, i also live in houston, was it deerbrook mall or galleria ??

Ruu Matthew Jassonio Agreed. Obviously these girls were actors, but there are actually kids this naive...
@@celestialknight2339 it's getting worse nowadays because everyone wants to be a social media influencer and whatever
Fuck off. No one fucking cares.
