When you realize that God is working in your day to day life from providing the food you eat to the friends you have to the sleep you get, life gets much better. It also can get harder if you are still holding on to that old hedonistic style of living because you realize all of the things that were hurting you the most actually give you the most pleasure. Stop denouncing God when you don’t even want to get to know him. “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.”

I’ve been an artist practically my whole life and recently I’ve realized that my art doesn’t glorify His kingdom at all so I’m in a pretty bad art rut but I’ve been having these dreams to become a Christian animator for all ages to enjoy. Still struggling with my art but I know it’s because God wants me to focus on him first
@tuffin6275I think that us having free will and deciding to choose God is the part that he loves. That way we are coming to him, not him controlling us and making it so we have to come to him because that wouldn’t be real or genuine.
I understand how you feel though, i sin, so much that I hate it and everyone that motivates me to, but if I could leave myself to God then I could avoid sin. But it’s not the way things are, we must trust in God and walk in him, by our own volition. Something I urgently need to do.

I feel like this has already happened to me because I used to be very fat and overweight but he destroyed me and then rebuilt me better than before and he is still improving me to become 1 of his soldiers

Today is the day of salvation.Choose today whom you will serve either Christ or the world etc Jesus said there is no in between you're either for me or against me .The way to be saved is by repenting of your sins and trusting in Christ alone .It is not enough to just believe in God because the demons also believe yet they're not saved .

To say you’re not religious, but believe in God is only a partial commitment to the Savior, leaving enough “wiggle room” in our minds not to be accountable to what the Savior commands us to do. It’s a life time commitment of change, and that’s not always easy when you’ve spent a life time of partial commitment. Full accountability comes with a commitment to Heavenly Father. Sometimes you just have to cowboy up!

@@cowpokejohnny3419repent doesn't mean turning from sin it means changing your mind. The bible was originally written in Greek and Hebrew with some Aramaic. I translated the word repent to Greek and Hebrew and it means change your mind. When Jesus says to repent and believe to be saved he is saying to change your mind from unbelief to belief. Jonah 3:10 shows us that God views turning from sin as works. And we are not saved by works, or works + faith, just FAITH. We are saved by faith in Jesus Christ alone. And before anyone brings up the faith without works is dead, James 2 has nothing to do with salvation. When he says faith without works is dead, he is talking about our faith being profitable, this is why he constantly repeats "What doth it profit?" @@Gardener7 I'm from NY. When the buildings went down I woke up to what was coming. And I always had something in me that was Ted to be self sufficient and not depend on municipalities. It is a spiritual journey as much as it is 3D. I invested a lot but have no monthly bills. There is just a learning curve that takes energy. I'm feeling better now, increasing in faith helps. Recently, I've been trying to let go of my old self. However, this process has been proven difficult, and things I would enjoy before, no longer seem comfortable to me, but due to my stubbornness, I don't want to let go. Still, I think this is the most challenging thing, as Paul said: "14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh" (Romans 13:14, NIV). I am afraid of losing my friends, but I think this is the part that He wants full trust from us, that we love Him, and that He has control of everything because He will make things new.

Anyone here that wants to have a relationship with our Creator you do so through Jesus. God will not respond if you don't know Jesus and what he did for us. I prayed to God for years and nothing. I prayed to Jesus one night for some sleep as my back has 2 disks on 1 side that are busted and was having problems with the other side and I could not sleep as I'd wake any time I moved from sharp nerve pain. My back is still the same but that prayer stopped the nerve pain and I haven't had it since and have gave up smoking weed (also with his help and not 1 craving after) and take no meds. HalleluYAH. God is wonderful he will let you know when you make the connection. You don't need to believe me just try and see yourselves.

I need help. This video touched me, and opened my eyes. I used to be a nice, loving person, and loved God so much. But I fell into a sin cycle 2 or 3 months ago. I'm like the closed house now. Everybody thinks that everything's OK, and they don't know what's going on inside. Not even my mom. She doesn't know that I've been struggling still, because I told her, at the beginning, but she doesn't know it's still happening. I'm sick of myself. It feels like I'm close to hardening my heart, as it feels like the Holy Spirit has left me. I try to choose God. I try to let go, but it feels like something is holding me back. I don't want to go to hell. I want to love God, and leave my life for Him. But as soon as I try to, I blame myself, and worry, and fear, and doubt. As sson as I try to calm down, and go to God, I suddenly blame myself and say that I'm accepting the situation and giving up. It feels like I don't care at all about anything. And this hurts me. I want to build a palace. But it's feels like I'm chained up. I want to tell, and confess everything to my mom, but the thing stopping me is that I don't want to break her heart. I don't want tmher to worry about me, because I can read on her face that she has her own worries. I don't want to burden, and worry her. I pray to God everyday, but I beat myself up mentally, and tell myself that it's too late, and that I'm S close to hardening my heart, and tga even the Spirit has left me. I used to weep about this, but now, sometimes I can barely cry about it. I'm tired. I'm tired of waking up everyday, already scared that I have to pray now, because if I do I won't repair my relationship. I can't pick myself up and I pray to God, but im scared that I don't trust Him. I'm worried that I'm faking everything, and that I don't love Him, but I do. I want it love Him so deeply. But I feel so powerless.

I wish he’d slowly reveal himself to you continuously so you’d grow to trust in him, instead of this feeling like you need to just one day go “all or nothing” and sacrifice every ounce of what you are and follow him.
What does it even mean to surrender fully anyway? What does that truly mean? Do you quit your job? Do you give everything away?

No. It is all or nothing, because once you invite God into your heart, you become filled with Holy Spirit, and you will never be the same person again.
And you don't have to do anything. No quitting jobs or something like that.
Just say to God "I love you" and wait for his response.

This was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and INSIPIRING... SO profoundly touching and at the same time kind of comical. God's simplicity in His patient but keen will to Love us and our foolishness to almost always reject Him and go our own way never ceases to amaze me. It's the most tragic thing there could possible be and at the same time it's strangely the most comical. That what we actually want the most, is that, which we think we want the least. Im continually getting to feel the meaning of the name "Divine comedy" more and more. In my experience, to look at your misguided prideful efforts when you do admit and let go is REALLY FUNNY. Might even be that this admitance of pride is actually the true source of all real humor.
