With tekki/naihanchi series basically just have a person grab with one or both hands on you and go through the whole kata and you will see a lot of applications very fast. Very useful bunkai for breaking out of holds and close range and on the ground. The Way of Kata book helps decipher kata also.

Hi bro I'M also the big fan of martial arts and now I'm 13 year old and I'm learning taekwondo
It's really not practical... you should try muay thai or boxing
Keep doing taekwondo it will help build strong foundations for other martial arts
