Man, you do have a lot of songs named after you. The river rat, George of the jungle.. nice swan fly-by. A spray skirt is indeed superfluous on calm water for the reasons you mention, unless one is expecting rain or wants to avoid splash water in the cockpit. Some majestic trees along your route (like at 22+). And finally, "Welcome to the jungle" makes sense for the mix!
That George of the jungle song just hit me as I said I feel like I'm in a jungle and then 💡 I was lucky with the swans because I only just turned the cam on again. Glad you liked it Patrik.
Well hello matey, glad you found it. Tip for you be careful in there when the water is low because there's a sunk boat down the middle somewhere. Nice to meet you too.
Hi just been up to look at the barrier today Friday 17/5/24 and there looks like a new sign on a post saying private land and slipway no launching of boats . So I assume no water crafts ie kayaks, dingys etc . A few idiots have spoilt it for everyone.
No they still allow kayaks and paddle boards. I spoke to the environmental agency office and they told me they are only trying to stop motor boats and things like jet skis.
Cheers for the heads up, but It's been packed and ready to go for a month now lol. I remember a few years ago when I was parked near the loch, it looked like the middle of the ocean it was so choppy.

It was a pleasure to meet you, I found the that little spot just off the river cracking place for a break.
