  • 90 years ago, in May 1934, STAND UP AND CHEEER was released to theaters. Starring SHIRLEY TEMPLE. This is a rare colorized version of the film that has not been released on Home movie, VHS or DVD . What you’re seeing is a VHS recording of a television colorized broadcast in 1986.
    The most memorable scene in the whole movie with Shirley Temple number “Baby Take A Bow”
    Where she sang and danced with James Dunn. After the success of this film, Shirley Temple and Jamestown would go on to make two other pictures together within the same year “Baby Take A Bow.” and “bright eyes”
