I've literally caught thousands of trout using mealworms, in the spring I'd order between 2 and 3 thousand and keep them in my refrigerator. Since I started fly fishing and then I started tying I know this is going in my box. Now to send in my order! It seems these types of hooks are popular I'm having trouble finding them in stock but sooner or later I'll get them and get to tying my own mealworms...thanks for the instructive video.
This will more than likely catch fish. Do fish ever come across mealworm larvae naturally ? Mealworms I always thought were terrestrial and fed on seed and flour based products. Unless perhaps one gets fish accustomed to feeding on them ?
