There's a Neilson column in old Montreal erected by the French speaking people of that city commemorating Nelson's victory in Trafalgar. The defeat of Napoleon's navy by Nelson allowed trade to resume again from Montreal and Europe.
Oh my. Lots & lots to tell you on those. For a full conversation rather than time consuming email. But, the obelisks if Rome are more fascinating than those of London. Do you know that there are twice as many ancient Egyptian obelisks standing in Rome than there are in all of Egypt? The ancient Romans pinched great quantities of them !
@@julianbarnett4564 Yes, They are fascinating! Im happy I had you as a history teacher with all your enthusiasm and neutral perspective, great new Jerusalem video too!
Thanks for the video very informative. I'd loose total faith if those SJWs got there way and get it torn down. All history should be remembered no exceptions.
I just love all these facts and figures that are put into the tour, makes it so much more interesting.
Brilliant video.
Thank you
Fascinating, really enjoyed learning the secrets of such an iconic memorial.
Iconic indeed. Glad you enjoyed it !
Superb video
super insightful, one of my favourites thus far
Delighted to hear that.

And I was equally happy to have you as one of my students, Jesse, along with that amazing whole class !
You talk about doing shows from other cities, but, unless you live to 150 years, I don't see how you'll get out of London. Absolutely fascinating!
It's a good point. London is endless. That's its challenge and its glory.

Where's Julian lately..?
isn't the Grand Avenue Water Tower St. Louis, Missouri the tallest free-standing Corinthian column in the world?
