- This song plays on the radio sometimes. I ripped it from the game's files, so this is the best quality there is, plus no radio effects.

On November 19th inXile released the expanded version of the soundtrack including this song, hence why we now know it's by Joshua James.
I'm legit getting misty eyed over a video game cover of a 70s sitcom theme. This has no right being so sad....
What's crazy is if you listen to the original, it does not evoke this feeling The lyrics match this style so much more naturally.
Good god. This is one of the best covers of all time. The shimmering arpeggios at the end always reminds me that beauty is a thing.
Criminally underrated (like this entire radio soundtrack)
And the game
@@EggNog47 yeap games like this are always criminally underrated. I mean yes Wasteland 3 atleast reviewed well and managed to cross over 2 million players, but games like this would deserve so much more than that. I just finished the game (after first playing Wasteland Remastered and Wasteland 2 Director's Cut) and Im damn glad that atleast Inxile got to make this game with bigger resources than they ever had for Wasteland 2 and made their best game to date yet, thanks to Micrososft acquiring them and giving them all the resources they need. I hope the best for them for Clockwork Revolution and hopefully one day we would see Wasteland 4.
@@Balnazzardi you spitting , this is actually one of my favourite games of all time and it’s just completely overlooked so I feel like wasteland 4 might be a forgotten dream but I’m still praying for it
I'm wanting wasteland and fallout 5 before I die. It takes them so long to make games nowadays, I might not make it
@@GTSN38that’s so real but it’ll be worth the wait fr
This makes me want to get into a semi truck and drive across the country and talk on the radio
and run over deer, don't forget that part XD
Ten four good buddy
Definitely did a double take when i heard this for the first time
Same man, what a banger!
It's weird because i love the show, but to hear the theme in 2020?
This song always makes me feel bitter sweet
As God as my witness, I thought giant robotic scorpions could fly.
I know it's 3 years later, but good God, this is a great joke only show fans would get. Top notch commenting right there lol
Love this take on this theme.
Reminds me of our awesome clever girl, Pizepi Joren. Why? If you remember well she pleased Team Echo in Wasteland 2 that if anyone ask her where she was from she decided to choose Cincinnati as her home.
Btw. I love Pizepi. The best companion in whole series since Wasteland 2! Cute little mutant girl from far, closed and ruined village who decided to explore the outside world.
I made a music minor (and a close friend) listen to this he explained all the bs they did differently till I eventually stopped him asked "honestly save all that analysis crap and tell me plain and simple do you like it" and he said "It's different I like it and you always seem to find good weird music" so I guess the reason I'm typing this out because the this song and that moment are forever connected now lol.
Baby if you've ever wondered
Wondered what ever became of me
I'm living on the air in Cincinnati
Cincinnati WKRP
Got kinda tired of packing and unpacking
Town to town, up and down the dial
Maybe you and me were never meant to be
Just maybe think of me once in awhile
Heading up that highway leaving you behind
Hardest thing I ever had to do
Broke my heart in two, but baby pay no mind
The price for finding me was losing you
Memories help me hide my lonesome feeling
Faraway from you and feeling low
It's getting late my friend, my love I miss you so
Take good care of you, I've got to go
Baby if you've ever wondered
Wondered what ever became of me
I'm living on the air in Cincinnati
Cincinnati WKRP
Got kinda tired of packing and unpacking
Town to town, up and down the dial
Maybe you and me were never meant to be
Just maybe think of me once in awhile
I'm at WKRP in Cincinnati
Cincinnati WKRP
Thanks
For those of you just tuning in this Thanksgiving day, Steeltown has just been bombarded with live Scar Collectors!
Thanks! Such a great piece.
Finally a song about the place i live
The show's pretty good too
All it is missing are references to skyline coneys right?
Sorry for your loss
Just played this game after I moved out of Cincinnati after 6 years. Not gonna lie it made me a little teary eyed to hear it. Cincinnati’s had its fun spots and great friends
you live on the air?
I like this a lot
Never have I wanted to listen to country music more than now.
RIP HH.
Is there anywhere I can buy or download this song? Don’t play wasteland 3 personally but a friend showed me this and it’s so good.
Any Downloader site for UA-cam
Late answer, but try steam? Some developers sell their music and artwork on there.
Who's the artist? I doubt it's him, but his voice really sounds like Gary Alan's.
Its a folk singer named Joshua James
@@ultimatefattie9022 Thanks man
great, thanks!
hey can you put this on sound cloud? that would kick all kinds of ass
Dallas Parkways
Spotify please?
Fuckin UA-cam.
What the fuck even what a random ass theme song to choose for a modern game xD
zoomers wouldn't understand
A modern game about a post apocalypse where the world was nuked back to the dark ages in the 80s. So the few radio stations that are still capable of playing music can only do so with the music that they are able to dig through the rubble and ruins to find.
I'm referring to the fact that I don't think I know a single person in my generation who knows what WKRP in Cincinnati is from 😂 like out of ALL TV SHOWS, I was not expecting that one xD
@@pokelover447EY Don't disrespect THE FEVER. I'm 26 and I've heard of WKRP but not wasteland 3. Definitely gonna give it a try though seems like the devs may have the same taste lmao. Speaking of taste you got it too my friend NakeyJakey and TFS are two of the best channels lmao
@@pokelover447 What's your goofy ass generation then? I'm a young millennial and learned to love WKRP from my parent's gen. Get with it kiddo
