- Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching!!! An early, American Thanksgiving to all my viewers. Today, we take a little break from work and enjoy a gorgeous drive through the majestic Smoky Mountains during the Autumn "Changing of the Colors". We also see several animals, including a black bear. This is not my normal style of towing and/or recovery video!!! This is enjoying God's creation in my opinion and belief. Also, perhaps some ASMR for those who enjoy that type of video. Don't worry, I will still have my normal towing and recovery videos. I just wanted to share this amazing sight with those who may never be able to experience it. May you all have a Blessed Holiday season!!!

We go to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area at least a couple of times per year. We tried to time our fall trip with the peak of leaf color and scored pretty good this year. We refer to the trees as praising their Creator with their beautiful colors.

It's wonderful to see this area. I use to live just outside of east Knoxville and visit every time we can.
Pray for the people in this area as they are dealing with many wildfires this year. Today's rain was a big help.

I've never been through the smoky mountains so this is a sight for me thank you
I live in Muskoka Ontario near Algonquin Park. The tour buses full of Chinese tourists, and the many other thousands who come to see our fall colours have the roads at a standstill at times. The difference possibly is we have moose, and if one of those are spotted, the whole highway comes to a stop. It’s actually a hazard because people will just slam on their brakes, and jump out with a camera. Beautiful country you live in there as well Ron. 👍👍
We don't have have moose in that area, but there are Elk. They are rare as, unfortunately, they were hunted to almost extinction. Much like you described, if an elk is spotted, traffic stops and everyone gets out of the vehicle with their phone cameras. I actually live in Missouri, which is about an 8 hour drive from where this video was filmed. We visit the Great Smoky Mountains as often as possible. There is just something indescribable there. If you truly want to see fall foliage, come to the North East, the reds, and yellows reach hues you can’t imagine, the reds on some trees are so bright, the actually glow, almost florescent in bright sunlight, and the yellows get very bright as well, with ambers and other colors combined, pretty amazing stuff!

I have to agree my grandparents and me went up there in 1999 and it was so nice to see all the colors and even got to see one moose and a whirlpool in the ocean

I live very close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I am glad you got to enjoy what I enjoy everyday. There's no other place i would rather live.
That's my daily office, I constantly have to remind myself that I work and live in a post card. It's so easy to become numb to the scenery when you see it day in and day out, but I wouldn't change it for the world.

This is exactly what I wanted to do the other day. I own a 1999 Lincoln Town Çar(new parts front to back)no rust detailed looking show room ready.But just the other day I notices my shocks may need to be replaced. My mechanic didnt replace them when we did the front end. He thought they didnt need it. Now Im ready to see the fall trees. And dont want to take the trip. I thank you for the drive it was like I was driving along the road myself love love the video. May God bless you and your family.

Ron May You and Your Family Have A Blessed Thanks Giving. I Know How Towing Can Be, I Did My Share Of Towing And Recovery in My Home Town. I Have A Picture Of A Wrecked Car Next To My Old Car @ My Late Father’s Service Station The Odd Thing Was That the Only Things That Were Different Were The Engine, Mileage, Inspection Sticker, Tires And Hubcaps. It Was The Same Make-Model - Year-Color and Interior as Mine That Freaked Me Out And So Did The Police Department. The Kid Hit A Store Front Doing About 75 MPH He Flattened The The Left Front to The Point That The left Front Tire Was Up Against The Floor Board Of The Car in a 45 Degree Angle The Right Side Was Intact. The Car Was A 1973 Dodge Polars Custom 4dr .

Very beautiful video I used to live in the Midwest and I miss the colors in trees I love here in a Pacific Northwest we have a few trees that turn color but not much on Western Washington mostly just pine trees not a hell of a lot of color

As georgous as this video is, this road is even more so in May with all of the rhododendrons and other wild flowers in bloom. My wife and I went through there in late May of 1971 on our honeymoon and for our 35th anniversary. You were blessed with a great day for this drive.

Colorado is beautiful
I had the pleasure of a "rushed" trip from Denver to Aspen a few years ago to check out a ladder truck for our local fire department. It was after the leaves had fallen, and before the heavy snows, but it was still a beautiful drive. Thanks for watching and God bless.

Very beautiful with the stunning autumn colors - we don't see them here in Sydney. Though the jacarandas and other spring colours are great. Unfortunateley, too many ads interrupt the peaceful flow - is it because I am in Australia?

Ron, I I had to guess The Date of your drive I would say 10/15 -10/20we had really nice weather and color then. I live in Blount County at Alcoa, TN. My wife and I drove both The East and West Foothills Parkway sections and the Loop road at Cade's Cove twice that week. The color was quite spectacular this year. We've live down here for 3 years and it was in the top 3 for both weather and color this year. Just out of curiosity what dash cam did you use to shoot this video? Thanks, Stan Laker.
