Finally made it here a couple yrs ago. Hoped to go back but the weather has not been good. We stayed at shaheens. Great place to ride from. Dave.
Thank to all the volunteers in Franklin county who make these trails possible. (Reese, Tupper Lake Snowmobile Club)
Absolutely! Doing a spectacular job!!
Love riding in Franklin County.
Great video! I’ve lived in NY my whole life and have been snowmobiling NY for about 20 years there are some beautiful trails and scenery in NY!
Totally agree!
Thank you for covering a US destination!
This one was my pleasure. Great trip.
Too bad this hasnt been a great winter for us in Northern NY. Hopefully February brings some cold weather and snow. We need to get the ground to freeze so the snow can stick. Ride safe everyone!
Fingers crossed for a snowy February.
My neck of the woods. Badass!!
Been riding that area for over 20 years, from our camp in sabbatis ny, wish they removed the railroad tracks, which is trail c7. Great video, thanks !
My hometown.. Ride here alot
Awesome trails. Had such a good ride there last year.
Too bad the weather has been so bad this winter. Hoping for a cold 10 more weeks with lots of lake effect over here on tug hill. And if you live in NNY, don't forget to drop your local representatives a message to keep our trails open. Hochel and the NYC skinny jean club are hard at work to get those ADK trails closed.
God I was hoping Zeldin was going to win the last election. I don’t think NY can stand another 4 years of downstate “leadership”
@@literallyshaking8019 her margin of victory was much less than the number of NYers that have fled the state in the last few years, and I'm guessing a majority of those people were not democrats. At this point I don't think it's actually possible for a republican to win a state wide race.
Nice job Chris LaBarge!
me and my buddies ride all summer and all winter in malone ny
Nice.
Dang man I'm itching to get out but here in Dansville we don't have any snow😥 but great vid as always👍👍
Been riding here for twenty years out of Lake Placid
Come to the NEK of vermont on your next trip to the states!
Nice Job! Great improvements.
Thanks!
So you’re wayyyy up there in the North Country. Thought we might see you make a trek to Tug Hill, Old Forge or the Lake George region even. But to be fair, it’s been a pretty weak winter for riding in those parts so far.
This was last February and the snow conditions were amazing. Snowed the whole time we were there.
Great segment, thank you! So, NY peeps, how is that NY law that was recently passed, that in 2032 only electric off-road vehicles can be sold in NY, being received?
About as well as the SAFE act, outdoor boiler ban, gas stove ban, gas furnace ban, etc, etc. Let's just say civil disobedience runs high and we don't follow any of garbage out of Albany. If we want any "banned" items we just pick it up out of state. The best thing about living in the country with no neighbors is nobody sees, knows, or cares what you do.
You gotta go to old forge in the Adirondacks
Definitely.
The county doesn't bother emailing back when you email. Hard to spend money there when you would like to travel there to go sledding. I don't want to ride on mud with a $20k sled and I don't want to trailer my machine all the way up there only to drive away disappointed not riding 1 mile.
To bad you had a 550 fan 😅😥🤣
Yeah, it is a fun little sled, but not exactly a rocket ship.
Chris does a amazing job at taking all the bed tax money collected from every hotel and steering it into promoting his own hotel which is holiday inn. He makes sure a nice groomed trail gets you to his hotel at the Northern end of the county While the Tupper Lake Club grooms to their hotels at the Southern end without just doing in for own personal profit . He also does a great job at steering everyone to Polaris which is owned by the Monettes who are investors in his hotel . They only groomed the trails they took this TV crew on the day prior and you are lucky if they groom 1-2 times a week during the regular season
Tell us what you really think...
Not the place to ride anymore. Locals are great people. Idiots from the cities don't follow the rules or regulations. Makes for an unpleasant experience. If you do go, watch for poor riding manners.
Applies just about anywhere you ride.
@@snowtrax Agree. It hurts the sport. We need better manners on the trail.
