Thanks for the vids, I think the best thing you can have in any situation is skills. Is it possible to do some videos on improvising, bush craft items? I've been watching your vids on food etc, very informative.
Thanks for commenting Jan. I agree fully about the skills. It does not take a lot of tools or expense to enhance the skill set. What sort of bush craft items are you thinking of?
i often use military canteen sets, you cant go wrong with them, something to watch with the after/civilian market sets, is the handles can sometimes be very small,
Sadly, I believe you may be on the right track George. As Jan pointed out, above, skills are possibly a good place to focus practice and bush time at the moment.
I wish that I could add something to the comments that would be helpful and relevant, but I have the same exact kits that you do. Instead of a sock though I use a handkerchief. Great minds think alike.HAHA👍
@@southernlandsolo7839 Canteen cups the one I use most often. People here in the states complain they're really hard to get and they have the settle for replicas, that's not the case there for sale online and if you don't go for one made in World War II they're pretty easy to get I always pick up mine at garage sales or flea markets. When I go out searching for one I always take a small magnet with me and try to get the stainless steel versions I like those the best.
Awesome Dave. I've got one of those round cups aswell, it works great. The only thing that annoys me is that the handle doesn't fold away. But for the price you can't really complain!
The same bro. We learn to live with that handle but it gets in the way in a haversack. I bought a spare cup recently because they are getting hard to find.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Kris

Thanks Neil. I have a Dutch Army set where every item is a smaller version of the US GI set. Not sure why.
Some experts ( non-governmental) I might add ,are predicting food shortages very shortly, so these videos might be very handy....

Thanks for the tip on the BOT. I checked out it's channel when it commented: thought it may have been automated. Thanks again.
@@southernlandsolo7839 no worries mate

Lol. Thanks Kevin. Which do you prefer out of your kits bro? I tend to use the GI Canteen Set the most, simply because it is my EDC.
