I totally agree with you. You need someone who both knows and loves the source material, but also understands movie making well enough to know when they have to tweak said source material for the purposes of the movie. He would also be a big help livening up the dialogue (which they desperately need because MOS and BVS both depressed and bored the absolute hell out of me), and he'd add a new and different perspective to things. I almost think WB should have Kevin Smith direct a Flash movie, he'd be perfect for it, or even a Green Lantern flick. Also, he and his comic book buddies could come up with a lot of good ideas for where to take a DC cinematic universe (and DC is in desperate need for some kind of centralized direction and overall story arc). In summation, Kevin Smith couldn't be any worse than what DC has now and he would bring a lot of zest to the DCEU.

Sorry Amy but my nearest cinema is a 6 - 8 hour round trip away. If I'm going to go to a cinema then the movie better be complete and great. We already know an extended edition is going to be released. And all the reviews I have seen are saying the same things. It's not great, it's a step in the right direction. It does have problems etc. etc. I'll watch the extended edition.
jgfjgfify Good to hear mate :) If I wasn't so far away I would go see it but it's just too far for a movie that people are saying it's just "alright" and to hear now that a lot of scenes have been cut out. It's just not worth going all that way to see part of a movie. I'll watch the extended on google play :)
It is because of these blockbuster movies that we are getting a decrease in quality films, films are being made for spectacle and the budgets are so high the more artistic film makers just can't compete so you have directors like Valerian or Mad Max needing a decade to raise enough money to even be listed next to the other films. The comic movies do not need your support they are visual roller coaster rides with little respect for the source material, it is in their nature to be safe investments with low risks and it's a sad trend, I refuse to give them money until I know they are worth it, they are destroying the comic book film genre, just so we are all aware... It will be like the Bond/spy genre they will milk it until no one gives them money and we will be left with a black hole and out of ideas for remakes. Take the new Jurassic World trailer, completely unnecessary plot, completely unreasonable money grab, they are laughing at the audience while they cut more and more corners and there is no defending them, I felt Justice League was shot entirely on green screen and I stopped caring about it as soon as I saw the credits they are just big VFX showreels to me and they seem to be getting worse, I actually think Avengers was the beginning of the end for storytelling it was full of fuck yea moments with little substance it's becoming like the Apple vs Android shit and either way we lose because they don't respect the audience they just want to fight over seats in the cinema, stop playing their game see what you want to see and stop lowering the bar of film making just to support universe building.
Sadly the more the government taxes us, the less people will be able to go to the cinemas. When taxes go up, so does everything else. To pay for everything else, the people have to work more. And working more means the cinemas become a luxury more people can not afford. Last time I went to the cinemas it cost me over $100. Not everyone is in my position but a $10 bus ride to the ferry, $10 ferry ride to the mainland, $20 cab ride to the cinema, $25 for the ticket to the movie, $20 for a drink and popcorn, then another $20 cab back to the ferry, another $10 ferry ride back to the island. And that's just for me, imagine you have a family to take with you. I don't regret having my family for a second. I would take playing in the backyard with the kids over the best movie you have ever seen any day of the week. All I am saying is that going to the cinemas in my case is just not important. Especially since I can just watch it when it comes on tv or a streaming service when I can find the time. If you can still make it to the cinemas then that's great and I hope you enjoy the experience. But for me that experience is a distant memory. . . . in more ways than one haha :D
Amy J. Delevingne its after saving the stranded fisherman.. when aquaman holds a glass or bottle of liqour after tossing the rescued man in the table he noticed that green goo in his hand, but explains nothing. I guess we have another of that lois lane bullet incident until they released the bvs ultimate edition and explained that bullet scene purpose.
I'm not necessarily asking for Snyder cut, even though that could be interesting to see, I'm ok for much longer cut that would make movie cohesive and add much more depth there. I hope we get something like that.
You DLCEU fans are a major part of the problem as to why WB and DC will never change their shitty business practices. You're actually proud to be ripped off, in business terms you're called "a Whale" or "a mark" which translates to "a person with no sense of value and will happily spend excessive amounts of additional money on something that's worth almost nothing". Real movies don't have sub headings like "Ultimate Cut" or "Extended Cut" and real movies don't have DLC.
1:01:30 Omg they totally predicted the flash movie with all the Batman and supermen. Wow. It’s like that director watched this and wrote the script based on this video.
The movie feels like the studio said, "Just give us two hours of stuff for trailers and scene previews..." ...it does put Miller's performance in We Need to Talk About Kevin in pretty sharp contrast.
Personally I Loved Justice League! But two suggestions I would make is STOP trying to play catch-up! These characters have more history than Marvel. Use it! Second improvement is WB needs to back off and let DC's Geoff Johns give some creative direction to the movies a la Stan Lee! Loved Mark's duck analogy lol!
Kirby has been dead for 23 years so.... no. Unless you mean his art style and then you got that in Thor Ragnarok, which a lot of DC cock suckers hated so you can't win there. And I say art style as Kirby couldn't write good dialogue to save his life.
True. DC honestly has a much better universe, besides some characters like Hulk and Spider-Man. I’m honestly shocked at the difference in movie quality.
Loved the rebirth of Supes and Flash trying to blind side him and Flash sees Supes eyes moving and eyeballing him and the realization on his face!! Brilliant and the Race between them brilliant
See, that's something they should have figured out before they started filming. Whether I like Snyder's style or tone (and I honestly don't) you have to try and keep the movie more or less nominally intact. By cutting 50 minutes out you lose too much, 5-10 minutes of a movie are one thing, but you can't cut the movie by approximately 30% and still expect it to hold up. That's also why BVS, SS and JL seem so choppy, you can't cut that much out of the movie and still have the remains hold together. Again, they're literally missing a little less than a third of Justice League, and that isn't counting certain scenes that they reshot, like the resurrection of Superman.
Doesn’t matter, DCEU in whole is a joke now, especially their fanboys! They scream left and right about marvel being for kids ,and then dc turns around and teams them up with wwe and Scooby-Doo 😒
The sad thing is that I think the problem the DC fans have is they're in an abusive relationship with WB. WB knows there are a lot of die hard DC fans who will stick by this stuff no matter what and they're abusing that fact by putting out movies that aren't very good. It's clear to me that WB doesn't really care about the characters or the plot or internal consistency or even the overall quality of the DCEU movies. They just put the movies out and expect the fans to show up and spend money. It's really not good and I feel bad because I abandoned DC back at Man of Steel.
pittland44 not really, The millions declining from man of steel till now shows otherwise, if it is done right they will get lots of money. Now not so much.
pittland44 the sad part is, the movie was screened by hundreds of their fans a month in advance, and they spread word that it “and I quote) epic, great ,awesome, DCEU has arrived etc... it was a joke on every one , and by fans defending this turd nugget, they are saying “ it ok we will take it , just do mediocre next time” 😒
I still maintain that Nolan’s Batman trilogy is a large part of the reason for things being a mess for DC currently. The tone of those movies, that ‘realism’ and emotional weight carried through into Man of Steel. Superman just couldn’t exist in Nolan’s universe. And whilst that tone did work in the first half of MoS, it couldn’t sustain through to the end of the movie. That DC and Warner Brothers persisted, whilst also trying to emulate Marvels success has a lot to do with how mixed up things are. For my money? I think DC should go the other way. Rather than make a shared universe, go for individual stories, different directors and actors, completely different takes on the character each time. An anthology of stories, nominally set in the same world, but not overtly linked. That would still leave room for Justice League stories, but takes the pressure off and allows creativity back into the process.
Considering how famous the characters are and how easily explainable their powers are, you can do like a Justice League trilogy while also doing different solo movies
Earth Fire Water Exactly. The narratives could broadly speaking overlap, but style can be completely different. Not that I’m saying they go this far, but consider The Animatrix as an extreme example. All stories from within the same universe, but completely divergent in terms of how the stories were told.
Amy J. Delevingne Aquaman is in post production, Shazam is about to start shooting, Wonder Woman is in pre production so they haven't stopped yet, though it won't surprise me if some big changes will be made. After all, they are really pushing forward with Flashpoint which apparently will retcon the entire DCEU They should have drop Snyder after the BvS backlash instead of trying to do something different with him. This lackluster performance is because hardcore DCEU fans didn't like the way WB treated Snyder while regular audiences saw a movie that was a mess
I have no idea but somehow it made it into a superman movie. I can only picture Kevin with his dumbfounded look asking the same thing. That being said I think I remember Peters being credited as a producer on Man of Steel.

Blacklily Orchard absolutely not equal. Knightcrawler is Frank Miller's Battank that also can crawl on falls.
Man of Steel. The fortress of solitude has a guard, theres at least one shot of a polar bear and the big terraforming machine has a lot of fucking legs.
What Mark is talking about with Superman being a bad guy was the Snyder version but they were scared to give the characters any drama as they want a crowd pleaser to make maximum profit so Whedon was brought in and made an alright truncated fluff movie.
The Russian family thing stinks of Whedon. Think back to Avengers: Age of Ultron and how all of a sudden Hawkeye has a family and you are supposed to care for him in particular. I knew Clint was going to have his face really close to a bullet in the final act. Whedon is very predictable and abuses the same resources over and over.
Martín Fernández Varela sounds like he's the right fit for Disney. Even Disney's Marvel. Disney Marvel fans love to see that in every single hero movie.
Depends on the characters. At clarks funeral it was full of people who probably knew he was superman. Perry white and that chick went to his funeral but so did the priest from man of steel and pete ross. Like the other person said undercover op but I think it should be that he somehow got amnesia during the doomsday fight and just got lost for 2 years.
@@kluneberg8952 Negative. There were a lot of family friends at Clark's funeral. They wouldn't have known. Pete Ross may have suspected due to the bus incident in Man of Steel, but he didn't know. Clark's co-workers were there. There's no reason they would have known. The funeral was open casket, so EVERYBODY at the service and the wake saw his dead body. His obituary was published in the Daily Planet. Unlike in the comics, in BvS, Clark Kent has been verified dead. They can't do him trapped under rubble or walking around with amnesia. Snyder got carried away stuffing "badass" moments into the film and painted Clark Kent into a corner.
Watching this in 2023 and it’s like Marvel “borrowed” all of Marc’s ideas of what DC should/can do with with their multiverse and used it to bring it to tie in X-men and the FOX library of Marvel flicks.
It's pretty clear Zack Snyder got the memo from head office: We're not making 'art' here. We're making Big Macs. We want predictable product pumped out from a standardized template. So no more complexity, philosophical themes, beautiful cinematography and unconventional interpretations of these characters set in 'real world' environments. Just give us hokey cliches, brainless tropes, jokey ironic dialogue and stock characters. We don't want proper 'films' with heroes in them. We want 'superhero movies': big, dumb and profitable.
M H lol if Zack Snyder's DCEU movies were art, so were the Transformers movies. Bland CGI destruction porn with soulless characters, style over substance, and the trademark egotistical way of thinking it's so clever when it actually doesn't work at all on any levels.
It's so fucked up how at 1:01:58, Kevin correctly describes what the Flash movie would be, almost as though someone from WB watched this and stole ideas
That Russian family scene was a Joss Whedon addition apparently. I didn't care for it either. I feel like Whedon hurt the movie more than he helped. Most of the really awesome scenes remained Snyder's. WB shoulda just let the dude make his movie, but no, once he understandably stepped away, not only did Whedon make some dumb contributions ("Yep, something's definitely bleeding" WTF) but WB butchered the hell out of the movie in the editing room for more box office money.
Could have just saved the Russian family scene for the last instance when they were escaping and kept the one scene of when the Parademons arrived in their city. But continuing to cut back to them hurt the pacing of the movie. OK, great, the girl found a can of bug spray, ha ha ha.
Is anyone else still watching this even knowing that the Snyder Cut is coming soon? 😅 Edit: I’m still watching this even after the Snyder Cut has already come out
The mother box being in him would be a lot like the Mind Jem in Vision. I know that this post is a year and a half old, but Endgame introduce a Multiverse before DC did, and before that Spiderverse.
Starro, Amazo, The Manhunters, The Extremists, The Elite, Queen Bee, The Grey Man. Justice League has a whole ton of sweet options with their supervillains. All of them require the right type of execution to work in live-action yes even Starro can be extremely scary if done like; H.R. Geiger's Alien concept, agreed.
Cleopatra (1963) is 4 hours in length, and yet 2 hours are still missing from it, why? Because the Fox studio wanted 1 movie later on and stupidly changed shit around. And yet an incredible 2 hours are still missing from the storyline of two movies instead of one picture. Which is why the film suffers from lots of missing content. The problem has always been a studio that screws around with a director's intended vision. Justice League should've been 2 movies!
The whole russian family thing has Whedon written all over it, and their only purpose in the film was to set up that stupid joke where Flash saves the family and Superman saves a whole building. All of the stupid parts of this film stink of Joss Whedon. WB loves screwing up Snyder’s vision.
Multiverse with all the Batman and Superman Actors TV and Movies would be epic - why can't Kevin Smith pitch Warner???? Shut up and take my money! 1:01:18
my thoughts exactly, Marc was making some excellent points and you could tell Kevin wants to be top dog and get 99.9% of the attention and laughs and shat on most of what Marc said then backhandidly complimented them in a glib narcissistic fuck way.
Listening to this there's another key piece to Marvel's success that no one is picking up on, because Marvel had multiple franchises going at one time they have ample time between movies to make any adjustments that they need to make. Think of the difference in quality, tone and visuals between Thor The Dark World and Ragnarok. Think of the difference in magnitude and feel between First Avenger and Winter Soldier. Because Marvel has ample time between their movies, they can receive feedback and weave in the appropriate changes before they start working on a movie rather than while they're halfway in the middle of it. This also makes things a lot more seamless in the Marvel movies and everything holds together better. Because DC is in the insane push to just "catch up to Marvel" they aren't taking the appropriate time to work things out and make the necessary adjustments without making matters worse.
They should have just postponed production/release of this movie until Zack Snyder got his situation under control......a lot of people have been waiting for a justice league movie for a long time! The runtime of the movie should DEFINITELY have been way longer......I think a lot of movies, in general, should be longer to cover everything. I think people would sit through a 3-4 hour movie, no joke.
The movie would not have been longer than three hours at the most. It would have been as short as two and a half at the least. That would have been fine.
Watching this in 2021 is certainly something special, specifically when Mark mentions the multiverse idea with Keaton AND then contrasting it with waiting 10 years for the next Justice League movie... oh my! Regardless, you guys are awesome!
Start a filter league that before a movie goes from storyboard to production, that it's run by a comitty of guys like this and other comic book lovers and "guys in the know" so that way they can make suggestions. The executives make money driven decisions. Simply make a good product for the fans and the money will be there
That moment when your favorite critic's review is longer than the film they're reviewing.
RandomBlackGamer he also reviewed some punisher and talked about swallowing cum on tbs ... sooo ... not sure this whole thing counts as a review lol

GrizzleyBruin thanks! I clicked for a JL review and got Punisher spoilers instead. Had to stop and read comments to see when the review started lol

What a world we live in.
If they were talking about the Snyder Cut, a.k.a the Real Justice League movie, the crowd would cheers too.

Start of the hart attack
People complain about Mark, but when he's being serious and giving actual insight on how he sees things, I can listen to him talk for hours.

Who complains about Marc. I love Marc. He isn’t a comedian but does a great job with insight
Marc's the man. I look forward to his insights more than Kevin's

Richard Shasteen Idk, Kevin Smith wants Clooney back. I'd rather have Smith just be an audience like is, and gives us his genuine thoughts
Amy J. Delevingne If you want Kevin Smith to be Kevin Feige, Kevin Smith has said he wants to bring Cloony back
Kevin talked about Starro, and they finally made a suicide squad with Starro.
The movie should have been at least 30 minutes longer.

TT it's still trash.
The aquaman scene with him saving the fisherman was sick. Loved when he walked into the bar and the white stripes starting playing. So sick!
Everything Comics if by sick you mean it made you want to throw up... I agree
In that scene there is a hanging incident when aquaman saw a green goo in his hand after holding the rescued man. That explain nothing at all.
Amy J. Delevingne yes.
Amy J. Delevingne no. I don't willingfully seek out garbage. Which is why I wouldn't have seen JL if I knew what I know now...
Bruce Snow you want it longer? Funny, your girlfriend complains about the same thing
Vote Green hah, ok, that made me laugh for some reason, props to that.
Keyboard gangstas out in full force tonight
Bruce Wayne I want to see the completion of vision.
James wan said on twitter "no watter bubles on my underwater world"
Idrissi Meaning?
Billy Sotherden Atlanteans are going to talk underwater instead of making air bubbles
Amy J. Delevingne Atlanteans were just able to talk underwater. Aquaman only used telekinesis when communicating with marine life
Amy J. Delevingne he doesn't physically talk to the marine life. Just mind to mind communication.
Holy shit, Jon Hamm as Bruce Wayne is a fucking awesome Idea. I would love to see that.
I love these long ass episodes! I want 3 hour fat man on batman episodes!!!

Snyder Cut IS COMING!
Ronit Mukherjee and it's still trash.

9:42 wtf 😂 Kevin almost had a heart attack 😂
1:01:30 Omg they totally predicted the flash movie with all the Batman and supermen. Wow. It’s like that director watched this and wrote the script based on this video.
Watching this years later, and amazed how Kevin called peacemaker season one with the staro
The movie feels like the studio said, "Just give us two hours of stuff for trailers and scene previews..."
...it does put Miller's performance in We Need to Talk About Kevin in pretty sharp contrast.
The scene where Superman watched & fought The Flash in flash time made the movie worth it for me. That was so badass.
The Amazon Mother Box sequence was like a ten minute Rogue One Vader scene.
Turns out the mother box's name is Martha.
Good one! This beats my previous favourite from the internet... Batman vs Superman: Dawn of MARTHA.
BUuUuUCKYYYYyYyYY
Steppenwolf "That's the name of my mother box"
Batman "Did we just become best friends!"
ah so many people still don't realize why that scene was so good and important? marvel fanboys or people that just can't understand it?
sinistar99 M-U-S-T S-A-V-E M-A-R-T-H-A !!
Definitely want to see the ZS Director’s cut. Make it 3 1/2 hours. I’ll buy it because they participate in “movies anywhere.”
An now its a 4 hr movie. Time flys
@@matthewsolis3826 whoa. I have no memory of this comment. Lol.
Great points! Loved the movie all 3 times I’ve watched it!
Bry T You Spoke Nothing But Truth
Agreed. Johns needs to be the Feige of DC. He really KNOWS how to make big huge comic stories. WB has gotta trust someone with a vision.
True. DC honestly has a much better universe, besides some characters like Hulk and Spider-Man. I’m honestly shocked at the difference in movie quality.
Holy shit, UA-cam put 6 ads in this video.
LOL, "battery clips attached to his balls" BUY A CADILLAC "brought to you by Disney"
Iain B
UA-cam doesn't do that. The people who upload videos put in how many ads and where they are placed.
Loved the rebirth of Supes and Flash trying to blind side him and Flash sees Supes eyes moving and eyeballing him and the realization on his face!! Brilliant and the Race between them brilliant
50 minutes of the movie were cut.
That would still leave room for Justice League stories, but takes the pressure off and allows creativity back into the process.
jgfjgfify I beg your pardon?
i agree with the anthology angle
After all, they are really pushing forward with Flashpoint which apparently will retcon the entire DCEU
They should have drop Snyder after the BvS backlash instead of trying to do something different with him. This lackluster performance is because hardcore DCEU fans didn't like the way WB treated Snyder while regular audiences saw a movie that was a mess
Anyone else love Henry Cavill as Superman!
he really sucks
Henry, of course. Welling as Superman would have been cool.
@Amy J. Delevingne
Because he just fucking IS awesome as Kal-El.
No. Cavill doesn't have the charisma for Superman.
Yes
Batman was better in BVS.
Batman felt true to the comics in BvS.
yea all the good stuff from B v S about Batman was not in JL
Bvs was garbage because it was 3 movies cut into one.
Slam Robot658 his characterization was bad in both
hell, Batman and Robin had better characterisation than this😂😂😂
night crawler = giant robot spider. I think you know where I'm going.
Oh shit. Fuckin giant spider again.
Blacklily Orchard Funny. The thing it reminds me of is the scuttler in the Batman Lego movie
Man of Steel. The fortress of solitude has a guard, theres at least one shot of a polar bear and the big terraforming machine has a lot of fucking legs.
26:32 "Boo-yah" is from Teen Titans. Not Teen Titans Go. It originated in the Teen Titans cartoon first.
I love Kev’s description of Kevin Feige drunk in Saigon as the way he decided to make the first Guardians movie 😂😂😂
What Mark is talking about with Superman being a bad guy was the Snyder version but they were scared to give the characters any drama as they want a crowd pleaser to make maximum profit so Whedon was brought in and made an alright truncated fluff movie.
Yeah well screw DC movies and comics I'm boycotting them permanently unless we get Snyder's version.
FINALLY!!!! I have been waiting for THIS!!!!
I love you,"Oh Jesus!" guy.
Sad to say this review was more entertaining than Justice League.
1:01:19 Marc Set the future 5 years
9:40 had me rolling.
It does. Felt very forced. Nothing really led from it... the fly spray? Plus, the parademons sense FEAR. Pretty sure they were pissing themselves.
Martín Fernández Varela honestly most of the weird not so good stuff seems very whedon like
Martín Fernández Varela sounds like he's the right fit for Disney. Even Disney's Marvel. Disney Marvel fans love to see that in every single hero movie.
It stinks but the fact that has to be added suggests there werent any civilians in the Snyder's cut, which I'm not sure would've been better.
Nguyễn Sơn Hà I agree, shots of the League saving civilans had to be there.
I want to know how they explain Clark Kent coming back from the dead to the public
Amy J. Delevingne i think there's a chance doomsday could come back like superman but there would be no point since superman already died.
@@kluneberg8952
Negative.
By not making another movie
He will pretend to be Clark’s brother Mark.
Watching this in 2023 and it’s like Marvel “borrowed” all of Marc’s ideas of what DC should/can do with with their multiverse and used it to bring it to tie in X-men and the FOX library of Marvel flicks.
Exactly , he predicted a lot things that ended up happening irl
Why does Marc Bernardin not write movies.... :(
Anyone watching the back catalogue before the Thanos snap that is #Covid19 !?
"Marvel Doesn't have a multiverse"

KGBeast! Haha Kev that was the best reference in the entire video! Great shit!!
"he kept his shirt on the whole time, like me in the shower" .... I almost died.
Lol “don’t write a better movie, talk about the one we saw!”😂 poor WB
Well said
The exact SECOND Marc said, "...battery clips attached to his balls..." my UA-cam cut to a jolly add for potatoes & fries, almost died laughing! XD
I disagree, it helped make the last fight have some real stakes and not just some random fighting in the desert type thing.
Could have just saved the Russian family scene for the last instance when they were escaping and kept the one scene of when the Parademons arrived in their city. But continuing to cut back to them hurt the pacing of the movie. OK, great, the girl found a can of bug spray, ha ha ha.
Yes whedon ruined marvel movies as well.
Guess what, Snyder hired Whedon...
lone wolf iron man flew a family to safety in a bath tub with a whacky fun expression and tone, during a life or death battle in a crumbling city.
WB needs to release the 4 hour Zach Schneider cut.
Christian Athas When trying to spell Zack Snyder's name you made every wrong decision.
Billy Sotherden hahahahahaha god damn that had me dying
Christian Athas they need to fire Whedon first.

Yup
The mother box being in him would be a lot like the Mind Jem in Vision. I know that this post is a year and a half old, but Endgame introduce a Multiverse before DC did, and before that Spiderverse.
But marc. You've said said countless times that you didn't want to see that superman.
Starro could be scary, just H. R. Geiger it to be like the facehuggers from Alien
For Dark Knight the praise was more for Heath Ledger's performance as Joker than Christian Bale's Batman.
lets be honest, they have 4 hours of movie that was missing, thats the real point of why it wasnt amazing
Aqua Man and the lasso scene was actually a Snyder scene. Everyone thinks it's Joss Whedon. But it is hilarious.
Nahhh
Was it? I don't recall seeing it in Snyder's cut and he included everything he filmed.
@@Michael_Ian_Blackface Dude. That was 3 years ago me. You'll have to take it up with him.
The whole russian family thing has Whedon written all over it, and their only purpose in the film was to set up that stupid joke where Flash saves the family and Superman saves a whole building. All of the stupid parts of this film stink of Joss Whedon. WB loves screwing up Snyder’s vision.

Love you Kev, but I prefer the studio format.
I think he gets too full of himself when there's a crowd. Like he tries to show off and throw Marc under the bus.
Thank you...he’s trying to ham it up too much in front of an audience
Scott Sweet fans get to partake in this, so we might not get what we want but I definitly want to be there one time
my thoughts exactly, Marc was making some excellent points and you could tell Kevin wants to be top dog and get 99.9% of the attention and laughs and shat on most of what Marc said then backhandidly complimented them in a glib narcissistic fuck way.
Two hours is just too long Kev. The 1/2 hour runtime from your studio is perfect.
About dam time...YOU ARE A SMART MAN KEVIN SMITH TO NOT REVIEW IT SO SOON
The armored bat suit looked amazing, it was straight out of Arkham Knight.
Because DC is in the insane push to just "catch up to Marvel" they aren't taking the appropriate time to work things out and make the necessary adjustments without making matters worse.
pittland44... Very good point.
Ayyy powerful mark with the corona "with the lime"
They should have just postponed production/release of this movie until Zack Snyder got his situation under control......a lot of people have been waiting for a justice league movie for a long time! The runtime of the movie should DEFINITELY have been way longer......I think a lot of movies, in general, should be longer to cover everything. I think people would sit through a 3-4 hour movie, no joke.
The movie would not have been longer than three hours at the most. It would have been as short as two and a half at the least. That would have been fine.
Brought to you by Corona
Watching this in 2021 is certainly something special, specifically when Mark mentions the multiverse idea with Keaton AND then contrasting it with waiting 10 years for the next Justice League movie... oh my! Regardless, you guys are awesome!
Start a filter league that before a movie goes from storyboard to production, that it's run by a comitty of guys like this and other comic book lovers and "guys in the know" so that way they can make suggestions. The executives make money driven decisions. Simply make a good product for the fans and the money will be there
They didn’t need to do all that. They just needed a bad guy who wasn’t a cartoon no one except comic book nerds have heard of.
