The funny thing about it was her selective memory where she forgot that both india and pakistan have had multiple incidents of protesting movies and restricting creative freedom on the basis of religion and culture, and for india the recent being the protests for padmavati (in which she herself stupidly protested saying the movie made her feel like a vagina because of the portrayal of jauhar), where hindu activists even distorted an incident from the Ramayana to justify their suggestion that deepika's nose should be cut off. Big mouth swara somehow forgot to mention this, but considering she herself was against the movie, why would she have remembered. India and Pakistan both prolifically protest and ban movies on religious grounds. And if her movie Veere ki wedding or whatever the hell it is called being banned in pakistan was that much of an issue for her, she should remember her stupid and nonsensical comments against the release of padmavati on the portrayal of the historical practice of jauhar, by which she was in a way supporting the banning of the movie like those hindu activist. She's an idiot and can't be taken seriously.

I have seen Abhishek once in real life, in a football match between celebrities. And i gotta say he was just an annoying spoilt brat for an entire hour. (I was pretty close to the field since I was the photographer so I did get to see his personality up close)
I think the reaction of Abhishek was spot on! It was an apt response to those people who still believe and think in a star/hero culture! There are no male/female leads, only characters in a movie.

I don’t think Abishek embarrassed himself what so ever, he was trying to make a statement that whether working as a ‘main’ or ‘support’ he is proud of his work! And I commend him for that. People think only being mainstream or hero type actor is what makes u a good actor, but I prefer smaller talented actors for eg: Irfan Khan or Nawazuddin.
Goes to show media will never let both the nations have peace. People want love and respect for one another and nothing else. These actors get paid from spreading hatred and instead of criticising them, we hate a brother and support such unsuccessful, lame artists.
