I am a Hindu living in the US. When I went to India it was very cool that in India every bag of chips or any type of food had a green symbol meaning vegetarian. Green symbol on a good package means vegetarian and Red means non-vegetarian. Me and my family is vegetarian, so this label was very helpful. Most of India is vegetarian because of Hinduism. 80% of India is Hindu and therefore many are vegetarians (especially Brahmins) because in Hinduism it is recommended to be a vegetarian as it avoids hurting other living species (animals).
Lol, all prejudiced ah*(0s, many from 80% does not constitute 40%, something does not add up , right?, also some says most North indians are vegetarians, other is saying most South indians are vegetarians, what a load of crap. I myself am mostly vegetarian but If you dont know the facts, dont make one. duh
24:26 The Bengal tiger is an endangered species. There are only about 4000 of the wild tiger left in the world of which more than 3000 live in India. And yes, there are 5000 tigers in the state of Florida alone but those don't count because they are captive bred and are useless to the cause of the conservation of the species. There are no wild tigers in USA.

Actually, the map that you (and I) believe is correct is used only in India. In most other countries, the ones you called "wrong" is used. Don't forget that there are Hindus who are allowed to eat meat, there are also others who technically are not "allowed" by their religion to consume animal products, but they do it anyway, and that's okay.

The Vedas arose five thousand years ago when human society was rooted in nature. The Vedic Rishis deeply contemplated the processes of nature and the universal consciousness behind it. Out of this basis, they devised Yoga, Vedanta, Ayurveda and the foundations of Indian or Bharatiya civilization. The Four Varna system of ancient India was originally based upon the idea of an organic social order that remains relevant today. What is called caste today should not be confused with it. Unfortunately, in the current caste system, the main/only criteria is one’s birth and not one’s qualification. This has inevitably is led to the breakdown of the Varnashrama system.
Wow..what a false propaganda again..thank god...Aryans and their fake system has been exposed to the world and especially indians...organic social order..what do you even mean by that...varna saastra..is manusmriti...its the curse of india society...varna and its people...should be thrown to garbage...

The cast system is mostly limited to the marriages now a days. In India people mostly tend to marry within their own cast unless it is not an arranged marriage. And in case of arranged marriages also people tend to marry within the cast of similar socioeconomic status. But cast system is still very prevalent in India.
I have watched "geography now india" in many different channels reacted by foreigners, yet never get tired of it. It makes me feel good to know they watch it too.
Every time I watch this Geography video on any reaction channel, I feel my moral duty to clarify that FIELD HOCKEY (@ 17:14 not CRICKET) is the national sport of India. As most of India has a prejudiced inclination towards cricket due to it being popular from the British rule, the influence and liking for field hockey has diminished but it is the national sport of India nonetheless.
Hi Geek Family, The caste system is one of the most misunderstood topics of Hinduism . For someone alien to the concept of Hinduism, caste system may seem discriminatory and racist in nature . Would request you guys to read about it from a genuine source. Meanwhile, this could help:- "Caste'' is the word given by the British . The Hindi/Sanskrit word for it 'Jati'. Jati and Varna are two words that are very important while studying Indian social system. These are classifications of the traditional Indian society that confuse many people who are outsiders, especially westerners as they go for literal translation of these words. Varna The word Varna, when translated into Hindi, literally translates into color. However, the Varna system had nothing to do with the color of the skin of an individual. In fact, the Varna system was devised to classify a person on the basis of his attributes or characteristics. However, the system got degenerated with the passage of time and developed into the much maligned caste system that is seen even today. This caste system meant that a person had no chances of upward mobility in the society, and he remained in the caste that he was born into. The original Varna system was devised to have harmony and cooperation between people living in the society and people in different Varnas did not interfere in each other’s lives to compete. It was when the Varna of a person was decided on the basis of his birth rather than his qualities that it became rotten. Jati The ancient Varna system did not have much of significance in the social order in the society. If one was a Brahmin, it may have meant a lot to other Varnas, but inside his own Varna, he was just another individual with no identity. The need for identity within a single Varna led to the development of Jati system inside the Varna system. There was no Jati system in ancient India, and even the Chinese Scholar Hsuan Tsang has not mentioned anything about it in his writings. The literal translation of the word Jati gives us the word birth. Jatis developed much later in India to reflect the trade or profession of a particular community. So, while Gandhi comes from Gandha which means smell, the community of Gandhis is the one that trades in perfumes. Dhobi community came from the word dhona which meant to wash, and thus Dhobis were people who washed other people’s clothes. Thus, a jati is a community engaged in a particular profession or trade. This system of classification continued in modern India till recently, and a person’s surname was enough to let others know all about his profession. However, with modern education system and no discrimination from the state, this caste system or the Jati system is on the decline. What is the difference between Jati and Varna? • The Jati was a subdivision of the communities in the Indian social order which was broadly divided into four Varnas. • Varna is a much older system of classification than Jati. • Jati helped in identification within one’s own Varna. • Jati system of classification got degraded into the modern caste system.
He forgot to address Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Dr B. R. Ambedkar. Shivaji Maharaj was one of the most kind, brave king of Maratha Empire who created Hindavi empire beating Mughals and many more. And Dr B R Ambedkar was Chairman of Indian Constitution Drafting Committee, first law & labour minister of independent India and father of modern India and many more... Without these two names, India is incomplete...

Himachal Pradesh is a northern Indian state in the Himalayas. It's home to scenic mountain towns and resorts such as Dalhousie. Host to the Dalai Lama, Himachal Pradesh has a strong Tibetan presence. This is reflected in its Buddhist temples and monasteries, as well as its vibrant Tibetan New Year celebrations. The region is also well known for its trekking, climbing and skiing areas.
The geography basically depicts how diverse India is and also should give an idea as how difficult it is to run an administration (democracy) with each group consider their unique culture/ language as their identity. Also, history of India is very old and its often seen around (like a 1000 year old temple or a 300 years old mansion). This diversity gives India an advantage as well as disadvantage, when trying to move a new policy or rule which is common across the entire country.
NOW just we students are taught all about India's history, politics, economy, science and many more ALSO ABOUT THE WORLD HISTORY LIKE EUROPE, CHINA,AND MANY MORE. JUST IMAGINE HOW MUCH WE HAVE TO STUDY......😅😅🥴🥴
@Art studio You Can Rewrite Your History(what most of retards in indian Politics are doing), You Can't Change the Past(Facts)!!! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aurangzeb#Bureaucracy go read some facts, then propagate your misconception
@Junaid , the very next paragraph from your link says that Aurangzeb imposed strict islamic law leaving secular values, and demolished schools and temples of non-Muslims. Aurangzeb was a fanatic communal ruler who definately deserves no mention in the list of India's great personalities. Zakir Hussain and Bismillah Khan deserve a mention instead. So instead of asking others to read facts, maybe you should read COMPLETE facts. Nobody is changing the history, just shading lights on previously neglected facts.
@@junaidashraf9085 You need to check the fact that your ancestors gave you wrong information. If it were not for that, Hindustan would have been completely Islamic today, but Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj did not let Aurangzeb win.
Don't worry man now many gonna become vegetarian after coronavirus lol, seriously why we need to eat other living being who has life like us only have nt much developed brain and language bt humans become monsters nowadays eating the speechless living beings even when we have so much variety for our taste in veg items unlike other countries where they have boring, tasteless and nt any variety in veg option.
His information on Aryan and Dravidian difference is coming from European outdated scholars. There is no such thing as Aryan or Dravidian, it is a myth. Also, almost all languages in India share their roots from Sanskrit. Example: People speaking Hindi (spoken in northern parts) will recognize many words in Tamil (spoken in southern state of India) because of Sanskrit. Tamil is actually considered the sister language of Sanskrit. Similarly Bengali language also share many words with other Indian languages. I have Bengali friends and I was surprised to recognize many words when they were speaking Bengali, although I don't speak it.
Are you a linguist? Have you done years of research? It is well known that Northern languages have different roots than southern. Sanskrit and tamil are no way similar. However, that has nothing to do with Aryan theory. So while you may be trying to deny Aryan migration theory (which is still highly debatable), your comment on similarity of the two language roots is incorrect.
The bleaching thing isnt limited to India, it happens in almost entire Asia and especially Korea,Japan and China. It comes from the very old perspective that people that generally work physical outdoor jobs are poorer and tanner. The richer families were usually indoors and did more mental work.
It is the reverse in the West. So, the poor cannot afford holidays to exotic tropical locations and hence cannot get a tan. Whereas the rich can travel to tropical islands from time to time and get tanned. Completely opposite logic to Asia.

Thankfully the plants have no life 😀
Not brahmins.mostly North Indians are vegetarian

24:26 The Bengal tiger is an endangered species. There are only about 4000 of the wild tiger left in the world of which more than 3000 live in India. And yes, there are 5000 tigers in the state of Florida alone but those don't count because they are captive bred and are useless to the cause of the conservation of the species.
There are no wild tigers in USA.

4:21 is the correct map of India
Due to Hinduism India is 45% Veggies not 40%
Actually, the map that you (and I) believe is correct is used only in India.

The cast system is mostly limited to the marriages now a days. In India people mostly tend to marry within their own cast unless it is not an arranged marriage. And in case of arranged marriages also people tend to marry within the cast of similar socioeconomic status. But cast system is still very prevalent in India.

Hi Geek Family,
The caste system is one of the most misunderstood topics of Hinduism . For someone alien to the concept of Hinduism, caste system may seem discriminatory and racist in nature . Would request you guys to read about it from a genuine source. Meanwhile, this could help:-
"Caste'' is the word given by the British . The Hindi/Sanskrit word for it 'Jati'. Jati and Varna are two words that are very important while studying Indian social system. These are classifications of the traditional Indian society that confuse many people who are outsiders, especially westerners as they go for literal translation of these words.
Varna
The word Varna, when translated into Hindi, literally translates into color.
Jati
The ancient Varna system did not have much of significance in the social order in the society.
Oh.... So these people think Varna as skin color... ☹️lol😂

@Art studio You Can Rewrite Your History(what most of retards in indian Politics are doing), You Can't Change the Past(Facts)!!!
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aurangzeb#Bureaucracy
go read some facts, then propagate your misconception

Bengal where Bengal tigers are from is a region shared both by India & Bangladesh. Also, Bangladesh was part of India just 75 years ago.
