Things this tutorial doesn't mention:
- Override only works in Cycles.
- Default BSDF shader is not true clay material and needs further setup.
- Scene lighting needs to be set up for clay effect to look proper.

@@Aron224. I agree with the other dude. This is a "genre" of tutorials that are usually for seasoned users. The point is to skip over most of the technical stuff that you learn with other tutorials and get to the point.
If you want more in depth tutorials I suggest watching Blender Guru, or Default Cube (stay away from Ian Hubert, he'll knock your socks off).
