The artist still wrote the song. Now in this case who knows how much was written by whom but it was Bowie s albums at the end of the day and I'm sure if Bowie had of been asked he would have said, "actually Mick had a huge part in the that song" at the time though he wasn't as generous but he was young.

Also, at the time my brother met him, David had just gotten a new tattoo (which he showed to my brother).
