My Leatherman Signal is my favorite item to carry
Yeah, I use it every day. In my opinion, it is the best tool on the market. It has pliers for fishing and other stuff, a knife I use daily, bottle opener, screwdriver, and other implements of the outdoor multi-tool like an awl and a Ferro rod. I think it is the perfect combination of industrial usefulness, but also tools that i use in the woods.
Finds himself stranded in the woods with only one knife but it's purple.

You know what is the crazy to me? The weenies that always plague the comment sections and complain that people carry too much gear.
I don't understand why it triggers people what others carry. Shit, some can carry 7 jackets layered with gear stuffed in each pocket and it does not affect my quality of life whatsoever.

I like it all. Have a question though. What is the big deal about pocket clips? I guess I'm old school (or just old) but I have had a pocket knife in my pocket since I was about 10 years old. I also use the same pocket for keys, lighter etc.. So when I reach in that pocket for anything, I don't want to scrape my knuckles on a knife on the way in. Tried it , didn't like it. Makes no sense to me.
my pockets aren't large enough to hold everything so the clip works best for me
I don't get out in the field much to test stuff out, but I will say I'm liking those fire plugs. Hard to lose the Duke cannon lip balm when it's the size of an EDC flashlight.

Nice gear, so I'm not the only one who carries a small pocket knife for some occasions and a huge folder for others :) I like the desert warrior from Boker, nice looking knife. I am really liking the Olights these days myself, Very handy but it did take me some time to get used to the button on the body of the light and not on the tailcap.
A classic BIC IS waterproof.
Once I forgot one in my trousers in the washing machine and it still works.

EDC without a pen?
I've got the same Cold Steel Pro Lite (last knife in the video) and I think you're under estimating what the knife can handle. I've thumped on that thing, cut a ton of cardboard (including the heavy duty stuff), packing straps etc... The knife has just worked. The 4116 steel has performed well for me. Best sub $50 knife ( they sell for $22) on the market based on my usage. If you're looking for a affordable beater/user I would recommend you consider the Cold Steel Pro Lite.
My favorite is an oldtime and a kershaw

Really wish you could do a review on the BHK Tree Frog. It’s a folding bushcraft knife with a locking system that allows it to act as a fixed blade. I believe there is another knife reviewed that is similar but this knife is its predecessor.

Lots of interesting edc choices. However, if I see someone with a paracord bracelet and g shock watch it screams to me that they are concealed carrying. Kind of defeats the purpose. But maybe that's because I'm part of the community. Sheeple might not be aware of this.

I currently don't have an EDC yet. I suppose I'd remove the blade from one of my store bought folders and forge a suitable blade to match it. I have a very choice piece of steel in mind for a fixed blade. Will have plenty left to make the blade for a folder. I made a charcoal tamper out of this steel. It took twelve or more hours because the steel didn't want to budge, even at orange heat! Not sure what steel it is, but this stuff is serious!!!
