I found gold in the grand river

using a 50 inch Amazon sluice to prospect for gold in my hometown in Southern Ontario along the grand river.

It looks from the camera that you were digging on an outside bend. Try to find an inside bend and dig where the largest rocks drop out. Guaranteed more gold.

There was plenty of flow, but not enough drop. The sluice was too flat.
