The animation on the Borg cube was awesome, hats off the animator for an awesome job, excellent use of green on the cube as well as for the phantom at that point in time it's game on or it is on like Donkey Kong so at this point he's practically gone ape over proving he's the better man than Eric Minard!!!
I wish that I had seen this sooner. The acting and production values are much better than many fan films. I realised why the audio seemed a bit off to me, no background FX. Nothing like constant whirring and bleeping to know that it's Star Trek lol I liked the intensity of the "doing the right thing" - just as you would see in the official productions. The music that came in was delightful and perfectly balanced with the scene. I hope to see more of this. It's a nice change of pace to see a film set in the Picard era that explores more of the issues surrounding the synths. It was a great story and was well written and acted. The battle scene in the second part of the film was fun to watch. Hope to see more films set in this time period.
This production always surprises. Honest discussions between the officers about the repercussions of the attack and StarFleet's response. It still amazes me how much I can suspend belief and be so emotionally attached to these universes and the people who live within them. The Captain represents the Starfleet I would be a part of. The man in black represents the greedy and grasping one minute and reacting in hysterical fear and prejudice the next. That corruption is what Minard fought so hard to combat. I would like to think in most he would be man to stand firm for justice. Glimpses of the other possibilities are going to have opportunities for much character explorations. Starfleet's order is unconscionable. I agree that affected units should be taken offline.
