    This is awesome! Is it still working well for you? Any improvements to tricks you've picked up?

    we use the exact same setup except we hook the hook in the bottom foot and use a small shackle around the cable and hook it in the top lifting hole. we had a compressor bounce from grazing the ladder and it came un hooked and was trashed. figure this way even of if it came unhooked it would slip a short distance then stop as the hook wouldn't pull through the shackle.

    What about regular stores like Starbucks that don't have ladder access? What do you use to hold winch?

    Really cool. Thanks for posting this. Ill be getting one of these unless you re-Post that it is a piece of junk and died, but i looked it up on harbor freight and its $99.00 and has Good Reviews. Like 4.5 stars i think it was. I did notice one thing it needs a cooling cycle every load run. 25%. So if u lift for 2 minutes it needs to be off for 6 minutes. Which can be a pain in the rear if it keeps kicking off on high temp overload. Shielding from the hot sun in the summer prob would help on 100 degree hoisting days. A Fan blowing on motor will help too if your hoisting alot. Key to Hoisting probably --- do the Heaviest item first. Hoist-Gen2 --- combination sun shield & fan assy for mounting above hoist. Lol.

      OcRefrigeration,Hvac & Electrical. we use this exact one and pull up 6 or 6 compressors and all tools probably 30 minutes worth of lofting and never waited and ot has done fine. not saying it's right but

      OcRefrigeration,Hvac & Electrical. Yeah. That day I ran it and it never shut off. Several trips non stop. I've only had it shut off once a really tall building. Just cooled it down for a few minutes.

    Super epic Ulises! Harbor to the rescue. That is the hardest part about roof jobs...getting all the gear up & down. Tie it around your waist hehe! What did u use to secure the unistrut to the ladder cage?

    • @UlisesPalacios
      @UlisesPalacios  7 років тому +1

      Jon HVAC yup Lol. I use a clamp, Some u bolts and zip ties for added safety.

      Ulises Palacios Nice Bro, I tried to rig the Supco attic jack to lift a comp today. It didn't work out so well. I need to figure out something. Maybe I will run to Harbor.👍😎

    How long did that compressor last? Trane scrolls don’t like 407C. We retrofit 407C all the time and by experience they don’t like 407C. Stick R22 to be safe

    • @UlisesPalacios
      @UlisesPalacios  5 років тому

      Yeah i think 1-2 years old. I think the 3D scrolls do worse with 400 series. Refrigerant like 407 or 422b
