I spent just over 22 years driving the night bus N77 then N87 between Central London and Kingston, watching this blog, I've just realised it's the first time I've seen Kingston in proper daylight with the shops actually open!. Normally, I'd be in bed by 7am. I must visit soon.
I dont have any view on TB but barely speaking is an interesting approach to a food review. That said, Lee your enthusiasm is infectious. Keep ever onwards !

A pet peeve of mine (and I know I'm not alone)... halal. If there's no halal-free option, I'm not eating there. As such, I can't give either option a rating.

Wow! That burger looked good. Love the fact that they steamed the burger to help the cooking process and then that spicy Chapolti sauce. The curry looked out of this world too. I haven’t been to Kingston for years but it is just stunning down there on the Thames. Nice vlog Lee although shocked at the price of those drinks Damian had to pay at the independent pub!

I know it well Lee, having lived and worked there. Some great little places to eat. Shame you didn't pop into The Ram just along from where you were filming the curry tasting by the river. Great selection of beers!

We love Kingston! I’m not surprised you couldn’t find anywhere to sit by the river. We had the same problem when we went on Saturday.

Hi Lee, I was there last year and stayed in Travelodge. Fantastic place just 30 mins to the City on Train. Food is good and nice 👍.
Kingston can be nice but I moved out last year (after 16 years) because it had just got too crowded. Not just the riverside, the whole town.
You're right, it's become very crowded in the last few years.
Theres an amazing food place in kingston upon thames called Poor Boys! You should try there one day. I've just come back from two weeks in Tenerife, I tried Harriet's tea rooms in Los Cris because of your videos, it was a 10/10! :)
Kingston upon Thames is in London. Formerly in Surrey but was absorbed by London in the 60s
Nice one MacMaster. Kingston-on-Thames is not too far from me(45 mins away by car/public transport) I recognized lots of the places in that video. Will definitely get myself over to the street food market, and for a beer, maybe for the late May Bank Holiday weekend if the weather is nice.

Kingston, Saxon seat where Kings were crown on a stone, the Coronation Stone is outside the Guildhall two hundred yards from O'Neill's . If you done a right pass the phone boxes just look across the road, its Spoons. In the market is Oliver’s bread stall top grub. On the river side looking over Damian`s left shoulder around the bend of the river is Hampton Court Place. From there take a boat trip all the way to Runnymede ie the site in 1215 of the Manga Carter. A short bus ride you are in Windsor. Going the other way is Richmond Upon Thames, towards London. There are some very good street food stalls, in the market, but there have been lots of shop closures. Top place for a day trip. Its London prices yet again.

You've not thought this cashless lark thru Mr Mac. Cash replaced by digital social credit allowance. Allowed one meal a day due to food shortages. Once you've had your brekie or dinner and done a vid, thats your electronic money supply shut off for the day as far as food purchasing goes. Hope you've got lots of good ideas for non food content lined up or you'll be having a lot of free time on your hands...controversial?

She lived at 93 London Rd. It made me very emotional watching you in the very place she held so dear in her heart. I didn't think there could be anyone quieter than DJ but Damien might be winning that one. Noticed Kelly is a quiet reserved person too. Got a sister that lives in Kingston and places around the river get packed when the weather is good. Food wasn't for me.
When you think of the shite MacDonalds are serving up as a chicken big mac , compared to this, on another level and only a fiver . Amazing !

Just behind you, when you ate your curry is the Portsmouth Road. Go along there out of Kingston to Thames Ditton, about 1 mile, you'll come to some trafic lights. Just beyond there is "Fish and Chips" Christys. The best in the UK IMHO. Try a Chritys, 1/2 pound Haddock and chips with some starter. Gorgeous. Prolly too late as you've left the warea by now. If not then Hopefully Darren will pop doen on his new Ducati for a taste. Not far from the market is a street where there are approx four cafes that serve a full English breakfast for £3.95 !
Cristy's was Damian's local I've been before. We was gonna go but it was closed for bank holiday. 👍🏼
