As a young, fairly new licensed flat rate technician for a subaru canada dealer, the hours I'm making are really good... making more money than I thought I would... but it's at the cost of my wellbeing, mental and physical health. On one hand, yeah im making more money than I've ever had, but on the other hand, am I really winning?? I feel the same way. Just wait till you’ve got a few years in the game. I’m leaning towards a different career soon just sucks with all the investment required to become a technician
You were a dealer tech and saw how bad your bosses were exploiting you and then thought “huh, I can be the one to exploit and get money doing it” Mr there’s no good techs anymore. There are you just don’t want to pay for them

I hated looking all the parts number and everything to do the job. That should be on parts it’s ridiculous and one reason I quit
